I used to read alot, more than I watched TV or movies. Then there was about a 15 year stretch I didn't read hardly at all. Then I found stories being narrated here on KZbin and realized just how dulled my imagination and creativity had become..TV imagery had replaced both. Anyway I'm back to reading and listening to spooky stories and it nice

In my 20's I would go on solo camps through the cascades and there's a definite terror that can creep into you up there. Alone in perfect stillness with nothing but a small fire popping at 4 am will test you. I've never seen a monster but the thought of bears and wild Hill folk kept me good and puckered some of the time.

Loved this. From Australia. Embarressed to say I believe that cluster of people who blocked the thin bridge of rich tourists all stuck together, included a smattering of Australian's . The stranger is obviously a spirit. The other 2 hikers are now spirits. They will become very angry, maybe even hateful if their bodies are never recovered. I had a family member that is mute. Tho he wrote to me and others (what he wanted to say.) He is a spirit now,as well. What did the stranger do to dalton,to cause him to jump off the cliff? If the stranger had shown the others his body? It would have explained very well why he ca'nt communicate to them!!

Hey Stephen! I just wanted to let you know after 6 1/2 years of listening to Horror Narrations/CreepyPastas that you are my NUMBER ONE! You are exceptionally talented and are absolutely the BEST VOICE ACTOR in the entire genre! Stephen, you can have ten people of different ages, sexes and cultures, etc., and I can tell which character is speaking by your voice acting alone! MrCreepyPasta used to be #1 UNTIL YOU came along and honed in on your craft the past couple years! He’s had TWELVE YEARS to work on his narration skills and voice acting where you’ve put it together in under TWO YEARS! You were an AMAZING narrator before two years ago but I alongside of hundreds of thousands others totally agree YOU ARE THE BEST! Do you want to hear something funny? I always go to your "playlists" and pick one then choose "shuffle" and just let the stories with your unrivaled narration skills play a lot during the morning then get some things done and go right back to where I was and listen in the evening and then all through the night… then rinse and repeat the next day! I recently picked the "CreepyPastas" playlist of over SIX HUNDRED stories and have found some gems I had never listened to before! I thought I had listened to EVERY SINGLE NARRATION on your channel, some over 10+ times… you really do learn something new everyday! Stephen, I hope you and your loved ones have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄🎁🎆🥂 Love from Texas ♥️🤠🌴

_My PE teacher is the one who first introduced hiking to me. It was never an interest of mine to hike, but after long discussions of experiences, I became curious. I have a fear of heights but the views fascinate me. I've only reached a peak that are able to be driven on by vehicles once. Other than that, I haven't climbed higher mountains. I was looking forward to hike with my friends in the future after I graduated college, but these stories keep me at bay. Thinking of being away from civilization scares me. It's just sad how thousands of lives were taken by those places._

This was awesome!! I love this setting so much! There's a really great Lovecraftian horror movie called The Empty Man where the intro takes place in the same kind of snowy isolated mountains in Bhutan and it's gorgeous.

Am I the only one who thinks extreme hikers are selfish adrenaline junkies? I mean if you truly have no human connections then by all means go ahead but a lot of these people have families, spouses, partners and/or children. Everyone knows the risk of hiking these kinds of trails and the fatality rate even amongst experienced hikers yet they still decide to do it for the thrill and because it makes them feel powerful (like “look at me overpowering nature”). Hubris at its finest. I think there are much less dangerous things that can satiate a need for adrenaline that are far less likely to get you killed.

I don't think the re-animated hiker was evil. For he was helping out etc. His 2 friends are dead cause they decided to assault the hiker and threaten him. If they kept their cool they would've been fine

This is one of my all time favorite creepy stories!! 🙌 - I love horror stories that involve nature & survival…. whether you’re trying to survive Mother Nature’s wrath….. some kind of ancient monstrosity…. Or trying to flee from your unhinged & starved crew mate, who hasn’t ate since the shipwrecked 99 days ago…. Y’know… Stories like that!! 😅🖤🌊

Reminds me of a similar episode from a goosebumps typ show. There was this creature in the mountains that took the form of missing skier and hikers, waiting for people looking for them, then it’d stay just out of reach as it lured them to an isolated cabin where it’d feed on their life force. Then, it would take their form and wait on the slopes for someone to recognise it and follow
