Hi Dante. Man, that is weird that both of you had those problems. I bet that sucked. 😂 ❤..... Sounds like great fun. I love the fractel stuff man... If I were a pro musician I would be using the FM3. I might have to buy one someday soon. Where I will hopefully be playing with my jam buddy usually requires silent stage or very low volume, so I'm trying to decide how to approach it. I will probably build a pedal board around a Boss IR2 with a pitch shifter from Eventide . The micro pitch and a TC electronics delay pedal for ducking delay / 2290 stuff and then just some reverb and an SD1 as a boost. I also have my favorite each of all time the Steve Vai Horsey 2 way. Love that thing ! Man, your playing is great brother and I admit that Abasi guitar is growing on me.. ❤ Just a little. I'm a strat and Les Paul guy though because I'm about Steve's age! I used to be young and handsome and now I'm just handsome. 😂❤😂 Do you use a new guitar for each song or just one or two all night may I ask? If you want to know some really cool stuff about the Fractel stuff from a great guitar player from Down under and online friend check out Leon Todd channel by the same name. He's really cool, and knows everything about the Fractel and has been using them since the Ultra I think. ❤ Be well sir and God speed man Regards from South Central Indiana. The heartland . ❤ Tim . ❤🤘👍🤘♥️🤘

Cool! Took the Fm3 around Asia for 8 weeks of touring, it worked out great. The guitars vary by song based on tuning. I've managed to get through the 2.5 hour Vai set with 3 guitars, Drop C, standard, and a standard 7 in Drop A. Thanks for your support!

@@DanteFrisiello Absolutely man.. Your hard work has paid off. I've talked to you before if you remember. Your about my son's age and I think I told you he just graduated from medical school and is in his residency now. Hard work always pays off and you are seeing the results.. I'm very happy for you my friend. You deserve and bring value to the world with your playing that is epic and your own music and Steve's. ! God speed man!

Do you know what was the reason Steve's rig going down before switching to regular tube amp? Nice video!
@DanteFrisiello8 ай бұрын
No idea
@Obxhatman9 ай бұрын
Yeah man , Has to be incredible to be around all that talent for weeks. The power issues , has to be venue related in terms of breakers tripping or something. if it keeps happening in the same place , or one or two places , you are overcoming the amp load on a circuit somehow and its tripping. Some venues just simply do not keep a eye on the loads of the circuits and whats left on a circuit as usable amperage. Bands change , load demand changes. Some more , Some less .
@DanteFrisiello8 ай бұрын
It was an incredible experience. We think it was a power issue ultimately but sometimes it's just impossible to say. Venue to venue its always different, and that's why techs have such a hard job!
@Obxhatman8 ай бұрын
@DanteFrisiello yeah man, hey , do me a favor , the woman I've spent the last 20 years with has a Steve Vai story. A long time ago she lived in California, was a bit of a groupy , of sorts. She told me that she met Steve and handed him a note from a crowd of people , ya know sort of extended arm out. That told Steve she wanted to suck his you know what....lol. I have to laugh at that cause at that time he was with dlr doing the eat em and smile tour. I wonder if he remembers that small exchange....hilarious. Anyhow brother , take care and solid playing man , Steve I'm sure is glad to see you beside him on stage.

@@DanteFrisiello There always has to be a certain percentage of what I call the _Sour Milk Shade Throw & Bitter Resentment Yeet_ 😵💫🤣😹Usually originating from trollish individuals who prefer to attack musicians like yourself & Steve & Joe & Eric, who simply took their talent + their hard work and created pure sonic bliss. The term 'soulless' is one that I would never use to describe any of the musicians involved in this tour.🤜💥🤛
