That's a misconception like dying in space. It would be quick if you were close to the blast zone. If not your body would be hit with burns all over but it wouldn't kill you right away. Good story but there are several things i dont get. After the bombing why wouldnt the military mop up? Even in iraq we would always move in force after a strike with armor and gunship support and that was against humans
@gachadumpsterfire67224 жыл бұрын
Seeing as how there was a mob of the creatures going after op the second the door to the bunker with more people in it was open, I'd say that either the creatures hid before the bombing and came out after the blast and took on the military, or actually survived being hit by the blast with not even a scratch(and took on the military). They were able to break down the bunker door(but not Craig's bunker's door, not sure why), so they would be a force to reckon with(unless the door was not the best). As for the all-clear message, it could either be a fake and the creatures know rocket science, or they stayed hidden when the military mopped up(but didn't check basements or cellars where the creatures could lay in wait), thought it wiped them out, and sent the message, not knowing how wrong they are. These are possible scenarios.

the crazy thing about carpet bombing is the fact that it doesn't destroy like a normal explosion. It doesn't have an intense shockwave that goes out a great distance. It's called the AOE or area of effect. Carpet bombshave a small area of effect but whatever it lands on completely blows it to pieces. For instance if they would drop a bomb with a large in a housing complex it with level all the housesand the only thing we left was the foundation... And there would be a ring of debris where the shockwave ended. When Hiroshima and Nagasaki was investigatedthe following day there was a ring of bodies and debris about 25 foot thick all the way around the city where theshockwave stop. Because after it pushes it out so far it dissipates and then everything that's being pushed by the shockwavestops as well. But carpet bombing would make the town look like he said in the story, like skeletons. I fought in the second Battle of Fallujah in 2004, Kandahar and Kabul with small insertions in between MOS 0 3 1 7 and there was a small town just outside of Kandahar that was housing jahad and their caches. We had a b-2 flyover and drop, what's called a section, in which they destroy a very specific area. They flew up one side of the townand completely destroyed the right side and then the plane turn and came back and destroyed the left side. When it was all said and done it look like God sent an angel down with a big sledgehammer... There was no fire anywhere it was just all concussion from shockwave. There was a goat that was fused into a metal pole, we guessed it was from where it has hit the pole so hard from the blast.
@tylerkincade65764 жыл бұрын
Matthew Dixon yeah man it’s defiantly not what they make it seem like in the movies. But that’s a crazy story especially the part with the goat. That would be really brutal to see that. The power of the force of the blast is insane.
@bigcountrymountainman97404 жыл бұрын
@@tylerkincade6576 the only reason I knew it was a goat was because of a leg bone apace of the skull in one horn. But like it didn't go inside of the pole, it fused to the pole. From what I understand it was because of where it was only around 50 yards from ground zero and the amount of energy on something that can get burnt at 180 degrees is nothing for that type of concussion that comes off of that bomb when it goes off. Kaboom

I can't tell you how many times I've had people call me a liar and call b*******on things that I say in my comments.... But things you see in movies in comparison to what actually goes on in combat or just ina military setting, people don't realize that they have been brainwashed and deceived by what Hollywood portrays. My grandfather was a very very famous army rifleman of the 506th E company 101st airborne paratrooper regimen by the name of William Guarnere. I've never watched the series that they made about the 506 easy company called Band of Brothers because I was so close to my grandfather and he just died a couple of years ago, so with that said, I don't think I could handle watching it. Because I saw an interview with Tom Hanks about him and he said that the guy that played bill guarnere, played him so well that even my grandfather said that it was like watching him watch his self. The fourth mistake was failing to suppress their curiosity. Their fifth mistake was failing to arrange contingencies. The character was an idiot. The kind of person who would be the first to perish in any of these kinds of situations. The fact they lived as long as they did was pure luck. Nothing but luck. I'm not surprised on how it ended, not even a little. Mr creepypasta did a great job bringing this to life. The voice acting brought out the desperation felt by the character.
