You know, the situation with Lapis seemed cruel when first presented to us... but it looks relatively normal for gem-kind to be built into architecture and structures. How many machines have we seen that were actually gems? Remember the strawberry battlefield temple before it got blowed up, it had a gem in it, was that a living Gem? Or what about the shards for living armor, were those part of a living Gem too? Whats the distinction between gem the item and gem the alien race cause it seems they dont know the difference either. Edit: AND the gem that fused itself to the Lighthouse back in horror club! cant forget about that one.

And remember how Aqua Marine told Steven (thinking his was Rose Quartz) that there was something far worse than shattering in store for him when they get to Homeworld? the geologist/gemologist part of my mind freaked out over the name drop of 'Pyrite being named Fool's Gold' by Pink Diamond. So there is definitly a Fools Gold gem out there and hopefully we see it soon. Pebbles are so adorable. Blue seemed to have one too but was turned into a comb? Also agree the walls being gems and the statues also being gems is disturbing. Are they imprisoned there or is that their purpose. Every episode we get some resolve but more reveals that opens up more questions and theories!

I've think the gems that become living walls and doors are really old. Maybe before builder gems like bismuths were born, they had shape shifting gems just become buildings or tools. Well, they did have lapis become a mirror. But I doubt it's the same thing. It feels uneeded because a bismuth can just make a nice door. I also doubt it's security because a guard that cannot chase or move isn't that effective, and the diamonds are already powerful.I think they are stuck like that, or thats the natural form of those gems. Maybe the private homes of white and blue and yellow are like that, made of gems. Pinks is not because she is the newest diamond. I think it's just an antique, it's heritage already so they just leave it like that, rather than tear it down and make it a sci fi door. I'm sure the conflict in the next episode is garnet attending the ball. She is a mixed fusion and this is taboo for gems. I wonder if we will find reason for this. It's obvious that mixed gem fusions are stronger, but despite that, they won't be used. Then there is jasper who became unstable after fusion, same for lapis.

Here's what the science side of Tumblr has to say about this episode, as well as my own little thoughts: -The pebbles getting what Steven wants? In Pink's room? Reminds me of Rose's room back at the Crystal Temple. -The reason why the sauna is called "The Extraction Room" is probably because of the diamonds "fluids?" They were probably the only source of creating new gems, and we can also see that Pink was the best at creating life (due to the pebbles being able to shapeshift) so that's why the Era 2 gems are of lower quality. Because Pink wasn't there to make Era 1 gems. -Wall gems might be gems that are harvested -Pink's little room may have been where she practiced her fake shattering (the mixing bowl, case of pink crystal, etc etc) -If a pebble is created every time Pink cried, she truly has the behavior of a Gem Z kid. 😉 That's all I can find, and all that I can think of. Stay fresh!

Hey Zamber. I have an idea. If this video DOES get claimed (or if not, do it on the next one), try making the audio (for SU or whatever you are reacting to) EXTREMELY quiet, but still able to be heard. Add a few audio affects, make the episode REALLY clear, (as in drop the opacity alot but make sure we can still see it a little bit), and you should be all set for Turner not to claim you.
