Maynard's singing in this is spine-chilling. I've been listening to TOOL for about 4 years now and i never get tired of them, but Salival is totally new to me and hearing this for the first time is nostalgic. It's like listening to Rosetta Stoned, Disposition-Reflection-Triad, Wings pt. 1 & 2 and Intension for the first time for me. I wish i could go back and feel the chills all over again when listening to TOOL. Many songs can make you feel nice, make you groove, make you feel epic or sad. But only TOOL has managed to make me get chills from their music.

A long time after I listened to the ‘No Quarter’ version of Tool I still tried to fool myself by saying the Zeppelin Version is better. My logical mind didn’t want to accept that they made the song flawless , it felt like blasphemy. But after about 10 years I started liking the Tool version more.
