I think around that time I was dyeing everything with wasabi, citrus yellow, peach, from dharma. And jet black from jacquard. 😊 use a light amount of dye to get the watercolor look.

Thank you for really good explanation! They both look amazing! I'm really more for geos myself. So if I understand it right, the 2nd is SA before, then dryed? Do you get lots of "sa dust" when you fold it. (I think I need to look/ hear your video again)😁. Thank you again👍

When I don’t presoak, I just sprinkle the soda ash on top with the dye.

Ok so if I get it right (looked twice now😂) 1) preesoak in just water first, tie damp, then soda ash soak. Then colour on top.? 2) was dry and colour, then spricle soda ash? Did you cover one or both sides with black or was it just one colour added with the light ones? Sorry if I'm slow. But your geos are so beautiful, and I would love to make some looking like those. I did try your scrunchy way of making the circles..looks very nicely uneven. Practice and practice I expect🤗
