Then all of a sudden I could hardly breath hold for 1 minute and froze my ass off in a 30 second cold shower, because I was forcing it, you just have to let it be, no distractions, no competition just breath. I admire his simple way to do. I couldn't never have baths in iced water because of an injury to my spinal cord I loose most of the sensitivity to my legs but his breath exercises are wonderful. They did relax and give energy and peace. ☮️ 💜

I'm very happy to come across you. Actually what you are teaching are already being practiced by Ancient Indians which is known as Pranayam(breathing techniques) streching(yogasana) and cold shower or dipping in cold natural water source like rivers or ponds. But if you tell people you are teaching them yoga or Pranayam( the words originating from Hinduism) then Orthodox Christians and Muslims do not accept it so I'm happy that these ancient techniques are being taught with new names and benefiting people. Peace and joy to you Wim. Started a week ago diligently with breathing and did 5 mins in 44 degree F (6 Celsius) in my bath. Next stop is the sea not far from my house, that is coming in at 40 degrees F (4.5 C). Not ice water, but I'm working on it. :) What is surprising me is that I can hold my breath for 2 mins. I was a smoker and never believed I would be able to do that, but is comes relaxed when doing the 30-30-30. Thank you. Your positive energy is pure joy.

Wim, you may never read this but I am a "Christian man"and watching this video I felt your love so deeply for humanity and it is really amazing! I have watched many of your videos and love them all, I love you also, you are so alive and I crave that life but I am stuck in hell here on earth, my family suffers from mental sicknesses and I am certain I too but I learned to cope as a young child because back then you had to be tough, that was the answer to everything.. suck it up! I hate this world, but not really, I love what God Created for Us to enjoy, I hate what man does to each other. When I stumbled across your videos recently and gave it a try I was elated, happy, fully of euphoria! I then got into a full ice cold shower for several minutes and have been doing the cold showers from full hot to full cold, it is amazing! I thank God for what He has shown you! (I hope I do not offend you with my Christian belief but it is who I am, I accept everyone no matter their ways for who they are and hope others can do the same, we are all fractured and broken) Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I am integrating your techniques into my life, you are now a big part of my life and this video makes me so jealous! Hello mister Hof. I came across and old video wich lead me here. I remember when i was in my mid 20s i got caught drinking and driving , which i dont agree with , i was a stupid person so such activities. But i was so drunk and they stuck me in the cop car and the police station wasnt but a few minute away. And i knew i was drunk and i was telling myself i have to get sober and started doing breathing technic like i seen u do and i sobered up. Also i fought on tje street and lots would challenge me and i would do the same to excite myself. I just joined your channel.im in my late 30s back problems kids changed me. But now that i see you im happy to join these channel and learn more to heal my body.
