Saint Thérèse of Lisieux is going to be my confirmation Saint next year. She has been here for me since I first learned of her when I was 9. I pray one day I may only feel. of Jesus as she feels everyday.

Brothers, Thank you for explaining why St Theresa has been so helpful to me. It always puzzled me, yet on my life Our Mother and jet have been close to me. I am now going to pray for Sister Teresa of St Augustine and the venerable Bishop Obviar. I hope you will join me. Sincerely

I really enjoyed this. The part towards the end where she encouraged us to think of a person as God thinks about them was really great. Great work

This podcast on St. Therese was great, very insightful. This was like a mini retreat on the Little Flower. Keep up the good work.

Watching this video again and longing for more!! Would you consider doing a class/book club online, on a format like Zoom, where people could discuss with you these concepts more in depth each week? I would gladly pay for something like that and might have friends who would be interested too.

I love st. Therese and her little way, but sometimes, I have second thoughts about her approach. If she disliked this sister, should she not at times gently have discussed one of these antipathies? Maybe she did, though. If the antipathy arose from a genuine flaw, talking about it gently might have helped solving it. But then again, such talks might only arise and be effective if a person feels loved. Anyway, I do agree with st Therese that being loving to everyone is a great goal and trying to love someone we dislike is a great exercise in cultivating that love

I'm hoping that this is a good place to ask this question: does the Catholic Church believe in the existence of saints we do not know about? That is, people whose lives passed unnoticed by the outside world, but would be seen as holy if they were known?
@ICSPublications2 жыл бұрын
Great question, Diedert! Yes! Likely, most saints are not formally recognized as such. These are the people who lived holy, hidden lives only noticed by those they touched around them. We remember all of these saints on All Saints Day, November 1 each year. If you have a chance, I recommend finding a local church and attending Mass on that day to remember all of these hidden saints who have impacted our lives!
