The infotainment system will be connected to the internet with sending data through mobile phone transmitters, so do you need to pay a phone bill with this car? What about driving overseas, do you then have to pay roaming fees for your data when you drive outside of the EU?

The video doesn't say how fast the car can charge, the woman simply says "super fast". Well the new ID.7 can charge (something% to 80%) in 25 minutes and when the ID.2 comes out that will charge just as fast as the ID.7. However previous ID.3 cars could only charge in about 40 minutes or so. So does this new ID.3 charge as fast as the ID.7 and ID.2 or does it charge at the same speed as the older ID.3?
@sepplschpeedruns28111 ай бұрын
Depending on your configuration, you will have a maximum charging speed of either 120 or 170 kWh of charging speed. It slower then the ID.7, but will manage ~30 minutes from 10 - 80%

I've spotted a bad design feature, the ID.Light alerts you to incoming calls on your mobile phone, this would then result in people answering their mobile phone and in many countries it's illegal to use your mobile phone. In the UK using your phone in anyway whilst driving is illegal, so even if you are playing music with your phone and you touch it, you have broken the law. But the point I'm making is that alerting people to incoming calls is a very bad design feature.
@sepplschpeedruns28111 ай бұрын
You can just accept the call with the car, if your phone is not connected, ID Light won't show the "incoming call" light😂
@schrobbi73967 ай бұрын
why would you touch the phone to answer a call? Just press the button at the steering and answer ... ---"You can get 6 penalty points and a £200 fine if you hold and use a phone, sat nav, tablet, or any device that can send and receive data while driving" --but nobody needs to touch the phone at all in the ID, actually it's even stored on a place where you wouldn't be able to see it!

In the language options in the system settings, add Asian languages, such as Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc. Although this demand is relatively small in Europe, competitors such as Tesla and Volvo have Asian languages. This shows that your competitors are more consumer-friendly, while you are arrogant. Put down your arrogance!

Or you could actually talk about the technical data of the vehicle, its performances... You know stuff that may matter for someone who is in the market for a car and not some silly gimmicks.
@matthewbaynham628611 ай бұрын
I definitely don't like key-less entry. The most commonly stolen car in the UK is a Range Rover, because criminals have figured out how to create an aerial and transmitter so that one criminal puts the aerial in the letter box of someones home and the other criminal uses the aerial to open the Range Rover and start it, because the Range Rover thinks the aerial is the key. I don't trust technology like this I want an actual key and I won't to disable any wireless, key-less, computer, technological way of opening the car and starting the car.
@se6031811 ай бұрын
The keyless system used by VW for the ID-Series is much safer!
@matthewbaynham628611 ай бұрын
@@se60318 well the people who designed the Range Rover probably thought it was safe. Avoiding new technology is normally safer than taking the risk, computers always go wrong, I'm a computer programmer trust me computers always go wrong.

@@siLox95 UWB (Ultra-wideband) sounds fancy, however it isn't going to stop one criminal with a transmitter and another criminal with a receiver in your letterbox, as long as the transmitter and receiver are also UWB compatible.
