ಸುಮಾರು 30-40 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಗಂಡು ಸಿಗೋದು ಭಾರೀ ಕಷ್ಟ ಇತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ulta ಆಗಿದೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 20 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇದೆ. ಈಗ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಾತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೂ ಈಗಲೂ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಗು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಬೇಜಾರು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋದು ಸರ್ವೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ. City ಜನ open ಆಗಿ ದುಃಖ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಳಲ್ಲ ಅಷ್ಟೆ.

I am Vidya from Mysore. I am single parent child( father died), my elder sister is 26yrs and she is earning 62k. My sister rejected almost 36 marriage proposals bcoz of dowry, joint family life, rude and attitude behavior of boys, very strict mother of a boy, village life, criminal background, etc.... And many boys also rejected her bcoz of no father, earning woman, short hight, introvert, fear of responsibility of other 2 younger sisters ( even we doesn't ask though) . My mom really tired enough in searching for a son in law. There are 2 ways of problems existing in society, yes these boys should have to change their behavior and he should be ready to give happy life to his woman bcoz woman sacrifice a lot during a marriage time than a man. She left her family for him, she can't hold any property on her own, she can't say any house like this is mine , she can't find herself anywhere, she changed her alot after marriage, etc....

In India non Hindus lead a less tension life compared to Hindus. I had seen in all hindu castes many marriage proposal cancelled due to no horoscope matching , same Gotras, and no govt. permanent jobs , no own house etc. for grooms . But majority of Christians and Muslims have tension free marriages as they dont give importance to horoscope castes /sub caste etc. ( Taking birth as a hindu is a bad luck especially for the middle class men as they cant live and enjoy a meaningful life inspite of having good health, job wealth etc. as I had eyewitnessed 100 of hindu men are unmarried ) But my Muslim tailor employee a widower nearly 52 years married a middle age women and have 2 children's also . He is giving more and more work pressure. Not allowing the HR team to hire sufficient staffs. We are reporting to the office at 8AM, leaving by 11 or 12 or 1 o clock at night.
