Very simple. He’s not human. 🤣 All jokes aside I love VoicePlay. They are just so good and their rendition of songs are great. I prefer them to Pentatonix. My sister loves Pentatonix so that’s how I heard of them and liked their earlier stuff but ever since they became famous they changed. Their earlier stuff was better in my own opinion. VoicePlay on the other hand hasn’t changed their style and that’s what makes them so great.

I've got to say, I'm so glad that Cesar is part of Voiceplay now. I am certain that if someone who didn't regularly listen to voiceplay heard this, they wouldn't realize that at 3:23 the whole line is just geoff. I think the listener would think the song went like this One band member: "If I were a wealthy..." another band member: "Maaaan" this was an overcomplicated way of saying that Geoff has got amazing vocal range.

takes alot of practice and pain but with the right voice you can hit those notes too. im not a professional in any way but i have been practicing all kinds of notes throughout my life and whenever i try to nail geoffs notes my vocal chords feel like they want to give up life. i can do about 20-30 minutes of those notes and my throat gets too tight to barely even speak normally.

I adore the original for ages, Gwen's version was good, but this is the best cover I could ask for. I want to thank KZbin for the "loop" option as that's how I spent last days, listening to this over and over. I want to point out so many parts. Like the little but easily recognizable Cesar's "bing" sound at 0:14, Layne singing in general, but esp. his beatboxing going "up" and "down" at the same moment as Ashley sings (0:37-0:39). Talking about Ashley, she's absolutely phenomenal! Her part is really jaw droping, I love how all guys just stand around her speechless for a second, as that was my reaction as well. Geoff's "Please" caught me of guard, love it. Layne did such an amazing job again with the arrangment, I don't think we talk about that enough!! And I love Layne's little smile in the background when Geoff did his run in full range. He knoooows. I feel weird saying it, but Eli's "Yidle-didle" parts are the clearest out there, I don't know how to better desribe it. And Cesar!! Oh wow! Congratulations to your first official song as a member of the VoicePlay ❤️ you blend in absolutely perfectly. Simply said, I love it. @@barnabasjthomas9983 This is my first time hearing her so I don't know how much auto-tuning she needs. The group uses it, yes, but the adjustments aren't large, generally. Would they feature a singer that required large adjustments for solo and part harmony? Maybe, but I doubt it.

@@barnabasjthomas9983 There's a vocal effect on her voice a time or two, but I'm hearing a deliberate effect - not autotune/pitch correction. It's like the reverb on Geoff's voice at 1:16. Pretty sure he can't make his voice suddenly sound like it's echoing in a cave, ha. They're creative choices, not correcting errors.
