Even in Josstice league he is better at that than Snyder was in the scenes they both used . Problem is, Whedon cannot separate involving human relationships /emotions from a comic book fight scene even if it was to save his life, whereas Snyder, for comparison, can do that so flawlessly that sometimes he makes shit look so cool but so goddamn stupid in terms of writing at the same time. I swear a fusion of the two could result in either the absolute worst product in superhero media or some of the best. There is no middle ground, they are just such polar opposites in their styles

Plot is the wrong word for it but it’s a whole family that is briefly shown throughout as living in the deserted town the final battle takes place in. I guess it’s the hive of the parademons so the little girl thinks of them as bugs and is armed with bug spray lol they are later saved by the flash. In retrospect it was bring a human element to the story (has nothing to do with the main story) but is super obvious. It was dropped from Snyder’s cut.

Bruh, acting as if “Snyder’s work is memorable “ for good reason has got to be a joke right? The majority of the comments people make on his productions are about how flawed they are. Don’t get me wrong, Whedon’s quippy unnecessary might fight humor ruins a lot of tension and pace, but Snyder’s complete lack of cohesive story telling and plot progression is a much worse issue. Joss actually directed 2 avenger flims. His style is perfect for marvel. Wb hired him, he was not gonna go super dark as it just not his style and warner brother told him to make a 2 hr version of 4 hr movie. He had to cut out many part and stories . Cut him some slack.

The dude made the first Avengers and it was an awesome film. He did the job WB hired him to do. He may be a monumental asshole on film sets but as far as JL 2017 is concerned, I would blame WB more than Whedon. The dude made Firefly, Buffy, Dollhouse, made an awesome adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing and as stated earlier, established a lot of the great character traits of the Avengers. Hell, one could even argue that his version of Superman in JL was much better than the silent, cardboard cutout version of the character in the SnyderCut ( CG lip notwithstanding ) and I say that as someone who prefers the SnyderCut. Yes, some of Superman's lines in the 2017 TC may have been corny but that's keeping in line with the more positive representations of the character in the comics as well. That corniness is what makes Superman endearing and Whedon actually got that. I simply don't understand the notion of constantly hating on the guy for working on something he never had full control over.
