Well, I mean, sometimes they hunt unfairly. Janja and his Clan are scavengers, yet hunt for live animals. Rei Rei and her family tricked others to get food which can be unfair. And Makucha was hunting a rare species and trespassed, same with that one female hawk.

@@TANGL3_BURR I'm naming the animals from both part one and two of this lion guard courtroom. Janja is a hyena, they're NOT scavengers. Hyenas kill their own prey just like any other predator. The first part of Rei Rei was straight up stealing but that's normal in nature, animals steal kills from others all the time, the Aardwolves were literally just them hunting. Makucha and the other animals have no concept of 'endangered species' like we do, so hunting them is natural as they would hunt them anyways. Makuu taking over watering holes and places just so others can't drink is a bit murdery yea but attempting to kill the other animals to eat isn't... they literally have to. Zira... yea she's just straight up evil, she's not even hunting. Ushari literally just tried to eat and then his food was stolen, he bit the honey badger because he fell presumably on the poor snake. Mzingo & Mwoga (I don't know which is which), one of them is literally chilling on a branch and two kids come along and start talking and he gets charged with eavesdropping for it. There's not much else I can defend for them except the fact that vultures have weak beaks so they can't actually kill anything, hell they can't even eat until their food has started rotting. The biggest issue is it's ok for the lions to hunt food, to kill the other animals but suddenly, when other animals need to, it's not allowed from the Lion Guard's point of view.

Though, now that I know hyenas aren't scavengers (yes, you actually taught me something), I suppose they are only in the Lion King universe. Though, about the hyrax, I guess it was unfair for Ushari to loose his food, but it does also seem unfair to eat an animal that was just saved a second ago. It also seems they can't kill herd leaders, since... Well, the predator gets attacked for hunting the leaders.

@@bendingdemon6483 i heard that in ancient times in the tlk universe lions, hyenas and leopards used to live in the same place but for one day the three factions started arguing on who was superior as a species, so, to avoid troubles, they divided the land they once share in different kindoms the lions in what became the pridelands (the lion king at that point was scar and mufasas' great-great father) hyenas (probably relatives to shenzi's group) in the outlands and leopards in the redlands (a zone with huge baobabs and red-coloured grass) makucha's actions are less or more serious depending on if he knew about this or not

If murder is illegal in the pride lands than how are any predators supposed to eat? I never really understood how the rules in “Kion” worked. Take Makucha for example, he was hunting like any regular predator would but then the guard came and said he needed to leave, if normal hunting isn’t allowed than how does literally anything find food?

Simba should've banished Makuu, but I think Nala and Kion didn't because they had already dealt with it, meaning Kion blew the Crocs away, and Simba wasn't there. As for Kiburi, Simba was there for this one. If Nala and Kion did tell Simba off-camera, I think Simba decided to give Makuu another punishment instead and harshly warn him about banishment.

Technically, attacking the Lion Guard is equivalent to attacking the Queen's or King's Guard, aka royal guard. Which, if I'm not mistaken, it is equivalent to attacking government law enforcement or even MP (military police). Which are higher offenses than against common police. Also, Kion is a prince.
