Story over everything else. While it's exciting to talk about gear, story is without a doubt what makes a short film great. This is great, Jake. Please, make more of these, you're inspiring.

This is definitely be one of my favorites! Lately, I have been living my life in a way that would look appealing to other people rather than me, and it consumes me so much. I thought pleasing them is what I want, but then I realized, pleasing myself is what I needed, and this video helped me with that as there is this part in the video where you kind of say that "you want to be an interesting character, so you will probably spend less time comparing yourself to other peope or scrolling through your phone, and spend more time embracing all of the weird part of yourself". There's nothing else to lose if I spend less time online. And with those words and your existence make me believe that you can do so much better if you begin to focus on yourself, on what matters to you, and on what fuels your inner creativity rather than wasting it to something that you will never benefit from. Ilysm. ❤️

Loved it brother ✨ Just wanted to let you know that I love our small interaction on Instagram every Christmas ✨ Also that I watch your videos on a regular basis. Specially these 3 videos: 1) Not motivated? Do This 2) Van Build Part 1 3) Van Build Part 2 Whenever I don't feel motivated or couldn't find the urge to get out of a rut every once in a while, I play these 3 videos. This helps me instantly to do the work and feel awesome to do the creative stuff. I watch your videos like 4-5 times a week, Irrespective to the need of motivation or anything. And I've been watching these for past 3+ years. I reason I watch these 3 videos is, I feel deeply connected with you, your journey at that time of building your van, feeling that moment. That help me to feel the same in my life, like I am in same moment with my work. Through these video I feel like I am so connected with you, feeling like I've been living with you in the neighbourhood, like we are friends for a long time, and I love that. Thank you so much for creating such amazing videos and thank you for inspiring me. You means a lot to me, Love you brother 🤜🤛 Keep Creating📸

great art like always :3 This video touches me kinda hard. Because especially in the last weeks I was thinking a lot about.. "how could my life look like instead of this right now - would I be happier with different stuff?" and also kinda got bored of some rusty every week & day same activities & habits or even hobbies. So atm I try different little changes in my day to day life and they make me happy, but when I think on this bigger picture: maybe work for some months/years in other countries and stuff like that I'm freaking scared. To be alone, maybe feeling lost etc. :( Not sure what to do from here on but your video gave me little ... new perspective I would say. thanks anyway for the beautiful visuals as always
