Been waiting for it to drop below $30, but I just don't think it will. Was able to take advantage of a few of the gold for spot deals on black Friday though. But the cool thing is my coworkers boyfriend wanted to sell some of his silver. Silver may have real value, but compared to other assets it will not grow your net worth. Especially including premium spreads from dealers being insane when you look at other options like stocks or even real estate. If you could freely buy and sell silver without having to deal with 3 different middle men each jacking the price up so they each make a margin, it might be worth it.

So the Copper price should be about ($1.02 million/1021) or $1,000. But the Copper price is $9,100 per tonne !! So, Why is Silver so 'Undervalued' (by 9 times !!) compared to Copper ? Stack Silver.

I think the lowest it can go is the low $20 range due to all the inflation that has happened. The only reason the silver market crashed after 2011 is because people needed money and access to capital and could not get access to it due to the banks hoarding money. Now that we have an excess of the money prices are increasing for everything to where they need to be. Supply and demand is key plus fiat is out of thin air do the mental math everyone.

In the last week or so, I recall seeing a KZbin from Andy Schectman of Miles Franklin where he considered the production sites of silver. As we know, silver is typically not the primary pursuit in any given mine. Most often, the primary target in new mines is either gold or copper (among others); silver is quite often an after-thought. But Andy’s main point was the cost of production. I don’t recall his sources, but he said the break -even cost for mining silver was around $26-$27 an oz (at retail). Anything under that would generate a net operating loss for the mining company. Meaning: these companies are not in business to bleed out slowly like that. If the retail price dips that low, then they just shut down operations and wait for the market forces/pressures to raise the price again to at least a modest profit level. Yet, we also know the industrial demand for silver is voracious. And he also mentioned that the US military uses as much as 500 oz of silver in every Tomahawk missile. SAY WHAT???!😮 If the price drops under $30/oz, then I may have to consider a “back up the truck” approach in buying it, too. After all, there appears to be a pretty valid safety net just below those figures. 😏👍🏻
@richardbillin519010 күн бұрын
I personally feel Silver will continue to be undervalued for the foreseeable future. Using your example for Silver needed for EV Batteries “1 gram per cell” and upwards of Kilo of Silver for a 1000 Cell Battery. If Silver was to be what should its real value those EV Batteries will be even more unaffordable and the EV industry will struggle even more and those controlling the price of Silver will artificially keep it undervalued. Even being undervalued I’ll keep getting what I can afford.

LOL wow… 1, I’m a millennial, bud, and two, my background is in network engineering. I knew about Bitcoin back in 2011...I even read the whitepaper. I’ll admit I wish I had taken it more seriously back then and mined some when it was easy or bought some when it was dirt cheap, but that doesn’t mean I believe in it now. Sure, some people have gotten lucky, but let’s be real: crypto is also a perfect tool for whales to manipulate markets and trick people out of their money. At the end of the day, it’s a system that relies entirely on the internet and a massive amount of energy to even exist. Without those things, crypto is nothing. That’s the definition of unsustainable, parasitic even... and yes, I’d call it a parasite. What’s hilarious, though, is people like you who act like crypto is the be-all and end-all just because you "understand" some of the tech behind it. Your beef should be with the credit card companies... it's not free for businesses to take your card as there's generally a 3% or so fee from the Credit Card company per transaction, plus a swipe fee. If you cancel your order and they refund you, they don't get those fees back either. Just pay with a check! They lock in the price when you place the order and ship when the check clears... its takes a bit longer to get your order, but you still get it at the same price. The only time that this is a problem is if your goal is to resell it right away, and if that's your goal, you're doing it wrong anyway.

The Dollar is ever inflating... it's designed that way. As I have shown many times, Silver has absolutely kept up with and even surpassed inflation in the U.S. since we went off of the Gold Standard... money under the mattress wouldn't have done that. And before you argue that money in the S&P or even Crypto would have done better for you, I don't disagree... difference is neither of those are tangible and come with much higher risk (especially crypto), where as Gold and Silver will always have value and demand, just like it has for the last 5000 years.

Hey interesting video and presentation, worth the time. I have a question : While I was stacking silver once in a while I buy single coins which looks attractive to me , is it a good thing or a bad thing like getting high on your own supply ?🫣🫣🫣
