The old owner of this place hoarded all kinds of cool stuff, and never wanted to sell anything for less than a mint or let people take parts off of cars without taking the whole thing, it was basically a massive junk pile for a long time before V&R bought it. I live about 20 minutes from this yard

That's the dozer that i learned on, 56 D6. Had to scrap it maybe 10 years ago. Had to bump start it for the last 10 years of its life but it always started. I'm also in Southern Ontario but I know that one wasn't ours! Has too much paint! Great show brother!

I love the 70's/80's Honda nuggets, I've got a Z600 body with all new suspension and the same b18 vtec swap people do on Morris Minis and it's a blast to drive.

That thing brings back memories. We have a D6-9u like that on the farm. Ours had stuck valves. If it’s running right it will start with pull rope. You got a throttle, compression release, pony clutch, and pinion lever for pony motor controls. Once we got the pony running the rack in the injector pump was stuck. It’s not hard linkage but a spring do the throttle would move but wouldn’t give it any fuel.

I may not know too much about engines. I have only fixed a few lawnmowers but I’ve found that if you take the air filter off when trying to start the engine, it should help give it oxygen. Don’t know if this helps at all but great vid!
