I also have procrastination and discipline issues. I sometimes get anxious and start working on it to bring changes in my hobbies but give up too soon and can’t stay consistent.
@AnuvamshiShettyАй бұрын
Thats when you continue taking small steps, don't try and finish big tasks the first time itself, it becomes difficult to complete it. Just break it down it smaller chunks, and after two weeks the fear subsides by a great extent and the confidence builds up, thats when you increase the number of tasks you have to complete on a daily basis :)
@anugrahchinchkhede57322 ай бұрын
I can relate to you. For the past four years, I've set ambitious goals and started working on them, but something happens in the middle-I just quit every time and end up procrastinating. But now I've realized that every time I feel that way, I need to get up and start doing the work!
@AnuvamshiShetty2 ай бұрын
What I've learnt over time is that you have to resist the urge to procrastinate. It really comes down to battling those first three seconds when the thought of putting off a task crosses your mind. If you can push through that moment, even just sitting down for five minutes to start, you’ll notice an incredible difference.

Regret never let me enjoy my life, for example when others are watching movie or playing games, i feel like studying, when i actually sit to study, i find it easy and i can accomplish it easily and its not worth the effort and i don't go through the hard steps and i fail. Talented, as other people say about me and no success to showcase is a hell to be living with. i lost my confidence a lot. but other side to this is when im with other people and it feels like a competition, i perform well. Im a mystery to myself.

That's true I was struggling while studying after failing previous 3 attempts , I made a belief that hard work isn't working out for me so day by day I started procrastinating .
@AnuvamshiShettyАй бұрын
Yeah i understand, there was a time i couldn't clear a paper too at the first go and it really took me by shock, and i was so reluctant to start again and i was delaying it but then i just told myself if i don't put in the effort and if i don't clear it now, then its never happening. And that simply meant, me living with regret for my life, and thats what drove me to pick my books up and study. So you should do that too, start slow but please start, you'll feel good about it when you see little progress.

i am struggling with procrastination from last 1 month and it happens with me everytime when my exams are about to start , padne ka man ni hota even when i have caliber to deal with it
@AnuvamshiShettyАй бұрын
Honestly, I’ve faced the same and what I realised is, it’s because I’m used to a certain routine before exams and the minute exams are around the corner my brain rejects the change of routine, and that’s why I procrastinated for a long time too. What helped me was to just start, I’m not even saying for the sake of it, but just start, even if it’s 5 pages na of a chapter you will feel good that you completed it and your brain slowly starts accepting the new routine. Bas yeh hi ek solution hai and don’t worry it’ll happen, all of us go through this :)

Exactly, this resonates with me! Procrastination and laziness often stem from the fear of failure, and it's easy to get stuck in the cycle of giving up too soon. I’ve had moments when I felt unmotivated, but learning to embrace failure as part of the journey, rather than evidence of defeat, made all the difference. Humor is key here-finding a light-hearted perspective during setbacks can keep us going. The Sense of Humor Improvement Program by Habit10x really helped me see how humor can make failures feel less daunting. Keep pushing forward-your next step is closer than you think!

Thank you for making this video and sharing your experience. I'm going thru the exact same situation these days. Even tho, I have enough time, I just don't complete my tasks b'cuz of my procrastination and laziness. I would introspect abt "what went wrong" & "where do I need to improve myself", make to-do lists & schedules, follow it for a day or two, but I give up so soon. and here I go to square 1. Each time I face a defeat, I become unmotivated to start again. But thanks to your video, my perspective abt setbacks has changed and now i'm feeling motivated that I also can overcome my bad habits.

What if we have some family health issues. And because of that you get mentally disturbed and develop a fear and to avoid that you are going on an easy path . Scrolling and just avoiding real work making excuses what u say what should I do?
@AnuvamshiShetty2 ай бұрын
That’s a really tough spot to be in, and it’s totally understandable to feel that way. Life can throw some heavy challenges at us, and dealing with family health issues can drain a lot of mental and emotional energy. I think it’s important to acknowledge that it’s okay to feel overwhelmed and to give yourself some grace. Maybe, instead of trying to jump straight into intense productivity, focus on small steps that don’t feel too heavy-like setting tiny, manageable goals. It could be as simple as starting with just five minutes on something meaningful to you each day. Over time, even those small efforts can help you feel a sense of progress, no matter how gradual. And remember, taking care of your mental well-being is also real work. Be kind to yourself, take things one day at a time, and know that it’s okay to move at your own pace. You’re not alone in this :)

The video is good and informative. One small suggestion: 1) try to add more depth to the voice when it comes to important words ( words that need to sit in the viewers mind to understand/overcome the purpose said of the video) . 2) try to add images,cliparts etc to make the video more engaging like how you added rolando's photo when u said his name, similarly you can add photos of struggle , time, laziness, overcoming it and achievement. This will make the video more interesting snd engaging because the content is strong, you just have to add more power to it by making it more engaging. Good luck 👌🏼

Can you plz help how to make oneself motivated for longer time to achive goal.
@AnuvamshiShettyАй бұрын
Absolutely, and trust me, I know how challenging that can be. For me, the key was shifting my mindset from just feeling motivated to actually building discipline and consistency. Motivation can come and go, but if we commit to even small actions every day, they add up over time. I found that asking myself what small step I could take today to move toward my goal helped a lot. Another thing that made a difference was focusing less on perfection and more on learning from setbacks. It’s like Cristiano Ronaldo said: you won’t always feel motivated, but pushing through those days is what builds real strength. So, start with one small action and just keep showing up, even if it’s only a little bit each day.
