I think best option is to actually give us a second super for both strand and stasis like with the light subclasses. The second strand or stasis should be a ranged projectile focused attack

As a Titan Main, my issues are still the identity as a Titan is lost. It very much feels like behemoth or Fist of Havoc rebranded n recolored. In addition the super feels over and used up VERY quickly. Thus far with thr boots and Monte Carlo, and a build based around doing one abilitt helps the cd of another, i usually can do something( also swapped to Shackle Grenade, rathwr enjoy that thing). Suffice to say though…. Still feel’s underwhelming. Both in performance and the sense its something “new”. Really wish Bungie would liaten to what Blizzard told them ages ago. Don’t nerf down, Buff Up. Raise other things to be more competitive,

Now that I used strand more as a titan my other main problem is when you start any activity as a strand it only gives one melee charge and puts the other two on cooldown. Like why not give us all three on start?

I think Titan has the fastest melee uptime considering it charges faster when you have woven mail (which u can get from doing anything whatsoever). Everything u do creates tangles as well which also buff melee recharge by causing damage with it or by just breaking it and getting woven mail. That's the least.

To make strand titan better allow us to grapple in super and uncapped melee attack speed the super since we aren't gonna get anything new and maybe make it so based on the number melee hits it increases the damage of the heavy projectile or increased area or both. One is fine and for the other classes give the grapple less cool down since it doesn't give you a grenade. I don't know the other classes since I only main titan but as it stands strand is pretty bootycheeks on titan rn.

One issue with stasis is most nades are useless with glacier they used to freeze on direct impact, now they can glitch out of them without getting slowed and dusk field freezes far too slow and they can get out too easy and cold snap is autistic half the time and is too easy to avoid pve dusk field is fine but not sure about the other 2

Side note ya ever think that if Osiris could use strand he would use it to bind up saint 14 inches and use him as he just dangles there. I personally enjoy strand, but that's mostly just because I've been used to the lock down enemies and take them down playstyle (harrow on warframe as an example). I can see how people find it weak, but something to consider is that everytime bungie has added a new subclass it has been broken on launch and power creeped to the max. I think that there's definitely more creativity needed though and I am hoping there is more added to stasis and strand in terms of grenades and melee abilities (especially in comparison to the recent light subclasses reworks) but I could be hoping for too much.

This dlc was a MASSIVE letdown in damn near every way. The new destination is BORING AF, the characters are SO CORNY and generic, I don’t think I have to get into my other major complaints as a pvp Titan main. People loved to heckle stasis hunter even thoug warlock had a turret that can eat a few hits and a busted aoe attack that marks the targets that were frozen titan stasis was not great and still isn’t but they at least got one shot melees we had to use up our abilities to kill with shatter dive this off putting the infinite use and glacier nades don’t even work anymore enemies just walk straight through

I mean I'm glad strand didn't launch to hot (I really enjoy movement) and while nothings gonna make me feel like Titanfall 2 I'm glad it didn't turn everything easy mode as of right now I have not finished the campaign but strand is solid right now and I do hate that Titan has no imagination but I think they'll biff strand. I've heard the story is lack luster and I believe that cause they didn't plan it for this expansion.

Honestly, now that we have all the fragments I think Strand has some sauce. Threadlings are a lot better, wrathmail is better, overal the only thing I think is super weak rn is the tangles and the grenade cooldowns. Lower the CDs a hair, and then either make the tangles do more or have less of a CD. But it's not too far off base. Obviously you couldn't have known tho, this video came out before they dropped the rest of Strand.

Even with everything we have currently unlocked, strand feels very barebones to me. outside of the "Necrotic striga" build on my warlock other builds feel pretty "meh". I wish there were more strand element weapons and strand exotic armor to work with and make synergizing builds. also maybe an unraveling rounds weapon perk because its going to suck when we don't have that seasonal mod giving it to us anymore. that one fragment to grant unraveling rounds is wack. I'm sure all my issues with strand will be fixed with future fragments and aspects but right now the lack of variety to really build with strand is ruining it for me.

I honestly didn’t like how powerful revenant and staff or whatever it is called and their still powerful, behemoth what so ever was just fine now it is just fist of havoc but worse it needs just a lil buff with the shoulder charge cus that shit is short asf and samething happens with the super shoulder charge, I just started using behemoth again after so long bc of The IMMORTAL smg so I could compete against it having tier 8 resil with resist to survive, im just waiting for leg day so I can farm for the path of the burning steps and I should be absolute cus I am gonna be using a stasis weapon with a solar weapon like battler for example(good weapon for mid-close ranges), I did want stasis nerf bc it was a lil to much ATLEAST for what is hunter and warlocks bc titans got the end Of the stick and they got the end of the stick AGAIN BUNGIE like where’s the creativity of my supers like it’s just basic, I don’t hate them but I want something different completely different, strand is honestly fine it is a lil overbalance but is it fine atleast for me, I think revenant is also a lil weaker than how powerful it was, shatterdive should shatter peoples shield when you break glaciers near them only the shield so you still kinda have a chance also the super needs like a lil buff bc my friend used it and froze like 4-5 people and only got like 1 kill somehow??? They're definitely not buffing strand yet but on that same thread definitely not nerfing either. Titan may be uncreative but it's neither under or overpowered to the eyes of the Devs yet. So far the only busted thing I've seen with Strand is actually the hunter super. A Fireteam did a crazy dps check on Caital using just 3 strand supers and a tractor cannon. Besides, I'm not too worried about the state of strand anyway. I'm more devastated about what I think is the biggest L build crafting has ever seen. They could've just recovered elements from mods and called it a day. I want my elemental wells back. I don't wanna constrict myself to a certain Loadout, just to make orbs to get some minor benefits. I wanna have my abilities in a near closed loop. 2x bomber and 3x wells on a grenade kill with bountiful and 2x Elemental Ordinance is all this guy needs to solo flawless just about anything that has a solo flawless triumph attached to it.

I agree with the thought that strand is the way it is specifically in response to OG stasis. PVP was absolute hell for almost the whole year after beyond light. They even admitted that aerial effectiveness was made as a precautionary measure for strand, that's how scared they were of another meta like stasis. And honestly I can't really blame them for it, except AE, that shit is trash and has killed pvp for me more than stasis and shitty trials loot did. That said people have already figured out builds to negate grapple cooldowns, and hunter and titan supers are DPS monsters with star eater scales and synthoceps. So it seems despite their preemptive nerfs, this shit still ended up being busted lmao

NGL, Stasis was fun when I got it for Hunter. I look at Strand and don't see it as something to take seriously - I see it as a fun way to implement a grapple mechanic and, much like Stasis, stop enemies in their tracks.

Too bad that the strand you use in the campaign ISN"T what you get after it. All abilities are sped up in the story. Once you're done, enjoy those 2 min cooldowns. Hunters...they will fix the double damage issue so enjoy that while you can. All strand supers are garbage imo. Not enough damage and cool downs too long for a movement based class.
