Currently 12 , Around 7 years ago when I was 5 I got a life threatening surgery. I knew a lot even at that age since my mom was (and still is) a doctor , so afterwards it left me quite traumatised of blood , needles and etc. . I was told that I couldn’t run as fast as before and many more things . At 9 depression hit me hard and due to past trauma+ depression I got severe anxiety. It led me to a heart condition which I still have. But thankfully the depression only lasted for a year and a half , though everything till then left a large toll on my mental health. I became very antisocial due to the countless scars I got from being clumsy and surgery, I didn’t want anyone to see them. However I didn’t realise that much until my current age. I see kids in my neighbourhood playing around and having fun , it sometimes makes me wish that I could’ve enjoyed like them. Though I don’t let that weight keep me down , the things I was told I wouldn’t be able to do , I did. And I still have a couple of years till adulthood , so I’ll try to enjoy till then .

really needed this video tbh, im 13 right now and I havent had the happiest childhood so far. ive definitely had those moments where i remember it until now but lately it has been hard to make new friends, ones that stick with me. its been tough in school. social life and grades and such. being who I am is still a big accomplishment though, and like you, i wouldnt trade my life. you are important, dont try to skip the hard moments in your life, make something good out of it. this video hit hard and im so lucky i came across this. i will live like a child until i cant, because i know i can always get older and never younger. living in the moment is important, and i want anyone who finds this comment to know that. if its a memorable experience (a concert, friend hang out, day at the park, last day of school, etc), then put down the phone, stop recording or texting or watching whatever. it isnt worth it. if youre young like me, please live. you never know if youll die earlier than expected too. youll never know anything about your future or anyone elses. make the most of your life while you can. things can wait, but time wont. ❤

Even though I can confidently say I've experienced a good childhood experience by having friends and neighborhood experiences, I still wish I would've stayed true to myself and what I liked. But the porblem is that i live in india and here the society thinks that when you pass 10th grade (10th class in india) everyone expects you to become an engineer or doctor so every student starts preapring for JEE OR NEET ( Which are one of the hardest exams in india/world). ya’ll had the best childhood, my whole childhood was just being bullied by my friends and abused by my parents,i used social media from time to time but it made my problems worse i firstly used it to distract myself from my home, i found a real good friend online,we talked for two months and he just ghosted me. I liked him a lot, i met him in real life a few times. I wanted to tell my mom all the things that i felt, the sadness and happiness, but my mom just said i was too young to feel this way and i didnt understand what ‘love’ or ‘depression’ feels like. I think every kid’s parents have to understand that their kids can experience stuff like this too. I wasn’t able to tell my mom anything because i was scared and insecure, she would usually hit me if i said these things. I never had much time playing with my friends as my mom didnt permit it, i only had like 20 mins per day to talk with my friends or play some games and stuff like that. I dunno how you guys have such an amazing childhood,i had score 100 on my exams just to get a lollipop. I loved reading at that time but my parents refused. All i did in my childhood was just studying and crying, i had friends that i couldn’t talk to, i had crushes that i couldnt tell my mom, i had secrets that i can’t confide to anyone. Though i was young, i sometimes attempt to make myself pass out in order to forget my things in mind. If you actually have good parents, dont be rude to them, instead you should respect them for being there for you, i’ll never understand how people’s parents allow their kids to like someone as my mom never allowed(my dad went for the milk) I hope nobody will experience this, having bad parents and stuff
