I love doing that, sometimes I am just in the mood, to tell the truth until an asshole feels the need to block me. Trigger warning of abuse... I even had an abusive ex block me after I made a video on my channel sharing some of the truth about what he did and that was so empowering because he gave me brain damage that severely crippled me for life. He only went to jail for time served, which is really sad to me. So that somehow felt more empowering than anything else which made me realize this can be another gift from social media, they have the power to stalk us and we have the power, to tell the truth like never before. It was so empowering because I realized his weakness was being afraid of the truth. Yes, he can bash my head in countless times but I had the power to grow stronger and tell the truth to set things into a healthier place. Learning how to react in healthier ways by growing emotional muscles that I didn't have before. I see now they are damaged and don't know how to heal so they use anger to protect their ego from the pain of growth. I too was brainwashed to think that the pain of growth is bad and the same as abuse so I get it. But we can reprogram ourselves and realize this is toxic for me and others so I should learn how to evolve to be better. We can push the Karens to evolve if enough of us push back against their behavior because they are quite weak and behave like this because of that weakness. The more I learn about how emotions work the more I see the power I do have and I can let go of wishing to have power that doesn't exist. I cannot make a Karen be nice to me but I can change how I react and see what is a healthier way to react by learning from the world. I can see that the more damaged a person is acting the more damaged they are emotionally and have empathy for that reality. I can also have empathy for the pain it is causing me and learn how to share the truth about how it feels. Sharing the truth of how I feel and how their actions have changed the MS symptoms is fascinating. It is like I can feel my emotional body getting damaged more intensely. I have felt emotional pain like a kick in the gut and it's like that feeling but turned up. The saddest part of it to me is that abusing others is also abusing themselves. The act of bringing a toxic action to life is also toxic for the person that thinks they are gaining. But really their light is now shining brighter because they made the whole world darker around them. The delusion makes them lose track of reality until we get these bizarre public outbursts that can now be caught on tape. It is fascinating to tell them this stuff too so I hope you do if you didn't know that stuff already. I just want them to grow and evolve so they can be their best and stop dragging others down with them into extinction. I would rather work to build healthier systems that care about health above greed because a lot of this behavior actually stems from people who think that way unconsciously or consciously.

A good friend of mine is blocked by Leslie Jones and we have no idea why. She's a big fan of Leslie's and created a twitter account a few years back specifically to follow her Olympics commentary. Five minutes after following, she was blocked. Best we can figure is that maybe she had enough trouble with troll bots that she set up a really aggressive filter that auto-blocks any new accounts with zero followers.

I wasn't blocked from a celeb, but an auction site that was handling some tv memorabilia auctions. I questioned their price gouging on shipping and handling and had like 5 people comment on a thread I had started. They deleted it. I commented again a few days later, they deleted it and posted a notice on how and why they charge. They had ridiculous shipping/handling fees, so say you managed to get a coffee cup from the show for $25, it would cost another $30 to mail it. They said it was the HANDLING fees, in other words they charged by the hour for packing the item basically on top of the costs of stuff used to package the item. I got blocked on my last tweet that had 40 people comment as well on the price gouging when 6 cast chairs (with name of actor on the backs and all the same model) were auctioned. Different prices for the bigger names I get, but only 2 were reasonable S&H and the other 4 varied - with one costing $189 to ship! One commenter , who got said coffee cup mentioned above, wanted a refund and they were ignoring her. Her cup arrived smashed. Apparently they charged for imaginary packing stuff. All the comments on my threads were about how they can't afford to win the item AND have it shipped, things were poorly shipped and damaged, AND local pick ups were charged for handling fees! I sort of started a fire there.... I had like 30 people message me telling me they were blocked when commenting about the S&H. The lady with the cup - she had to make 8 new accounts to get someone to listen to her, they kept blocking her.

Shipping costs on ebay and etsy are often equal to or more than the actual items' price. It's making online shopping almost not worth it, except for Amazon, unless you win at the lowest bid or the price and shipping together are lower than the original or comparative cost.

Both those platforms charge us a percentage of the shipping fee, there is also a handling fee, that's not really our time but more for the supplies it takes to ship and finally living in Canada, shipping costs are astronomical, I mean insanely high. Apparently there are things called Block Lists that are kinda auto-generated, and if you're on them you'll get blocked automatically even if you haven't done anything. The original askreddit thread had an explanation of this and how it worked in the replies, kinda surprised it didn't show up in the video, it's real interesting information and explains the lady who got blocked for no reason.

@@whoahanant it's not entirely random, something in the order of if a person likes or follows a person who is a I guess you'd call it enemy of that person it auto-blocks you as a safety measure to prevent potential harrassment. There's also I think one where someone blocking you triggers a lot of others to block you, kind of like a group block so if you harass one person a lot of others will block you preemptively as well. I'll see if I can find a link to the explanation, but KZbin's anti-spam bots do like to delete comments with links. I actually heard it on a TTS askreddit channel, so searching for "what celebrities have blocked you askreddit" might get you a video with the explanation as well as a lot more answers to the "who's blocked you" question that weren't in this video.

I tried to get blocked by Jeffree. I got blocked on Instagram by Tati, I think it was because I had a nuanced take over the original drama with her and James Charles and just said that if they’re truly like family surely a private conversation would be more reasonable. I also pointed out that if her allegations about him were true she shouldn’t have waited until he made her mad to call out grotesque behavior like that.

Tati lied about a lot of things in that situation. She did tell the truth that JC was and is a predator. As for the rest? If this bitch says the sky is blue, I want two independent fact checkers to verify, and I’m going outside to see for myself. And frankly? I just felt as a matter of principle if you truly felt someone was guilty of something like that, you call it out asap. For me I didn’t like her motives behind the call out and the majority of her video was about her brand and not about the truly important things. I fully get that she was hurt, I just think she should’ve been repulsed by the information and not even cared about the shady stuff between the two brands.

Shockingly enough, real celebrities (as opposed to social media wanabees) have staff that deal with their social media accounts and they rarely even look at them. Many of the star's postings aren't done by them but are a prearranged publicity or marketing strategy. And yes, the decision to block someone is simply a staff member following the procedures for dealing with negative, embarrassing or harrassing individuals.

Either the writers or Kimberley decided that she wasn't going to be in that movie so someone had to replace her. And that just turned out to be Sara. People who haven't done anything, do sometimes accidentally get blocked if someone is using a blocklist. I've also blocked a bunch of people who I've seen be crappy to someone else. Obviously, I'm not a celebrity, but I imagine some of them do it too.

On Josh Peck - it's possible that he used a bot to block people. A little while ago, a bunch of people decided to use bots to not only block certain people, but anyone who follows them as well. Some celebs lost thousands of followers. That kind of stopped for a while, but I wouldn't be surprised that there are bots that will block people who tweet certain phrases.

I do find the "3 hairs" comment funny, especially after showing the the photo of Golem. After a series of events, I went through 10 rounds of radiation to my brain in April '22. My very long hair (except for a few wisps on top and a ring of hair from top of the ear level, down to my nape) fell out, alas, the "golem". I do wear a hair piece or scarves, but at home a very tiny pony tail. I dub it my "3 hairs". My hubby thinks it looks like a reverse bowl cut. We fun about it and he's so supportive, but losing the hair after everything I went through was hard, humor is a must. It is growing back, so I can't wait until it's a mullet!!!!! LOL!!!!

i was blocked by Mykie (Glam and Gore) from replying to someone’s comment under her tweet. It wasn’t a malicious tweet, but me replying to someone else’s comment about a shared experience. Mykie’s tweet was about how she suspected to have covid (back when test weren’t created/early 2020) because her and her bf had a very terrible flu in February. Someone said they took a flu test and it came negative but they had symptoms. I replied the same thing happened to me. I went back a couple of hours later to mute the tweet and found out i was blocked by Mykie. I think I was blocked for a month before her posts started showing up on my feed again.
