I fixed my swing in my yard using one of your drills from a prior vid. Just by watching the club head release. I could use irons and a driver with about 70% accuracy. Compared to before about 20%. I'll keto trying and see how much it improves.

Great stuff guys. Been working on this as my early extension causes me to have to flip my hands and release the club earlier to compensate.

Thanks for this video! Constantly told by my golf buddies that I’m standing up on the down swing, couldn’t figure out the issues, but I think it’s poor set up! Too much of a squat position rather than hips over ankles.

finally bought new clubs today. Went and did a proper fitting. Ended up that the cheapest irons set out of what I was choosing between was the ones I liked the best and I was trying to like the more expensive ones more but the stats didnt lie. Went from a regular to stiff shaft and nearly got a hole on one during the fitting hahaha. went with tour edge e723.

Was always taught your right hip doenst come forwards to meet your left on the down swing. Your left goes back to meet your right.

My feel to encourage staying down and prevent early extension is to think from the ground up. Once I get into my right hip in back swing my weight is in my trail foot' heel. Once there I transition my weight into lead side automatically swaying the left hip back without even thinking about it. I found that swaying the lead hip in the downswing disrupts my sequence. I would encourage golfers to work on their footwork and start understanding their swing relative to that... Prevent the problem rather than cure the symptom.

Would this cause iron shots to be pushed out to the right as a right handed golfer? Happens a lot where I’ll be aiming middle of green or left of the green and without slicing it, the ball ends up way right.

I was watching your video from Florida you seemed to be pushing all weight on left foot that will knacker your ankle in as you swing through on rotation as right foot goes up to the ball you should be twisting with left foot on the ball rise left heel to twist on follow through i hope you get it 😅😅

Yes this can be definitely due to that. Or you might be standing too close to the ball also.
