DougDoug could single-handedly fix the vast majority of youtube bot issues like this, considering all a large percentage of them do is copy/paste existing comments and add a period at the end to make it technically unique. Presumably they do this to build some youtube/google confidence score prior to pushing the bad spam. PS- I have long wanted a Twitch chat client that filters repeat messages, thereby leaving stuff of actual value readable and on screen. Maybe adding a sidebar with the top 20 most recent emotes, and how many times they were sent, to keep the hype in sight.
