Not sure why pros don’t do primarily barbells and dumbbells for arms anymore. Machine work is easy. There’s something to be said about using free weights and doing bodyweight dips that built gnarly and separated arm development back in the day. You rarely see 80s and 90s muscle quality anymore. Too many machines in use not enough going balls to the wall with just plane old iron
