日本語で例えたら、山の手言葉のような雰囲気を感じました。

As a pronunciation teacher, your videos are surely helpful. I would love to understand everything you said, but I can't understand Japanese. 😅😢 I wish there's an English subtitle. 😅

good idea! English subtitles will surely help a lot of people
Thank you doing a lesson on the British accent, it's interesting to hear how people teach it and also to read the comments on how people find it different to American English (It's a slight shame it has to be speil coming from Boris Johnson though...)
Idk how to speak or completely understand Japanese but I want to so I’m watching random Japanese videos to just familiarize my brain with the sounds of the Japanese language as background noise to pick up any words I can cause I hear that’s how other non-English speaking people start learning English
例えば鏡なんてのも庶民は"Mirror"だが、貴族は"Looking glass"と言ったりするなど語彙面でも違ったりする。日本で言うところの御所言葉のようなものだと思えばよし。(ちなみに鏡の国のアリス(原題:Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There)のモデルであるアリス・リデル女史は男爵家令嬢である。)
