True. Before he was captured by Kat Stark, he was a elitist, stuck on himself jerk. Kat took him down a peg. Brienne made him more human. But to be fair, I think he did /does have good in him. I think when he saw Bran at the end of episode one -season 8 it wasn't the look of fear in his face but remorse that he put that boy in a wheelchair.
