Same and wish he kept it. He could have kept using the Ronin identity while Kate became the new Hawkeye but I see why he burned it. The Ronin suit was attached to his inner grief,darkness,anger and vengeful side while Hawkeye represents his more happier,heroic side

Hawkeye was one of my absolute favorite series. It was legitimately funny, emotional, and had an actual great villain.

this actually felt like a different mood and pacing than the actual show. a little more on the serious end with quirky humor. that's likely a reason it was cut. there were some other deleted scenes that felt more serious too.

@@NekoinaBox2000 The show suffered tonally cause it was both a Christmas show with a "hopeful enthusiastic youngling being taught the ropes by the older disgruntled pops" setup, but also a show that's entire premise is seeped in dark elements fit for a gritty Netflix-style show. If it stuck to one side or another, or started light and then got darker and darker and ended gritty, it could have worked better, but both elements were sprinkled all over the place and some serious scenes ended up feeling a bit cartoony and some levity scenes felt mired in darkness for whatever reasons, which throws you off a lot when you're trying to get absorbed in the atmosphere of a show.

It would explain why he doesn't bother doing that when he was fully dressed as the Ronin in Endgame.

But still defying laws of physics and chemistry considering its hardening properties with a small quantity of nanites that's stupidly enough to create an entire body armour - illogical as hell. 🤷‍♂️
