Fire Emblem Awakening is my favorite 3DS game by far. I have poured more hours into that than almost any other portable game. The GameBoy Pokemons are the only games that come close. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is the only 3DS game that comes close to Fire Emblem personally. I'll never forget the experiences I had in that game. Both games are absolutely fantastic. I cannot recommend either enough. Buy them if you haven't. These are must-plays.

I think A Link Between Worlds is better than any on the 3DS because of the 3D. If you get it (who are we kidding, when you get it) ramp the 3D up and enjoy!

I think the omission of so many games from a list of the top 25 games on 3DS shows just how amazing this system's library is. Pokemon OR/AS, Mario and Luigi Dream Team, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Theatrhythm, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Kirby: Triple Deluxe, and the Etrian Odyssey games are all great and deserve on this list as well, and many more games are coming that I am sure will be great and find high places on next year's list. The 3DS is awesome, and deserves to have a top 50 games list.

Though I applaud you for the addition to an already amazing list, not all of those games are that good. In fact there's some better candidates like Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance and Pokemon ORAS which I find a lot better then some of these games (especially Project X Zone).

SabersxEdge Personally, I thought there were points in the game in which you were forced to farm and grind off simple common mobs simply to level up enough to be able to advance with the story, something that I've found wasn't present in KH and KH2. Other than that, yeah it was a great game. Much better with the Circle Pad Pro or C-Stick though.

Here is my take: Steamworld is a great game that really adds a plot and backstory to a Minecraft-esque mining system. Super Mario 3D Land and New Super Mario Brothers 2 are both a little too high, but still deserve to be on the list. All in all, great and accurate vid.

I agree with this list except for one thing, I think NSMB2 should have been replaced by KH 3D. Maybe not in the same place but NSMB2 as #13? Its popular and a solid game, but "a genuine shake up in the series". Because theres more coins? I mean everyones entitled to their opinion, but for me, NSMB2 was merely a 3DS version of the previous 2 games without 4 player co-op. Nothing amazing or bad, just ok. And I know its not every KH fans cup of tea, but I think DDD rivals BBS as one of the better portable KH games, especially compared to, as I call it KH1 DS, othewise known as Recoded. And the ending kinda blew my mind when I first DDD. Obviously 3DS has a wide variety of amazing games, but I'd personally put it on there on my list. My top 10 are: 10. Star Fox 64 3D 9. Shane Bovell I don't think Nintendo will get rid of 3D in their next handheld. I think they might make it even better and more dynamic and probably implement holograms into it somehow. It seems Augmented and Virtual reality is where gaming is headed to.

Sure, they are trying to wake it back up with the new 3ds but it's simply not happening. It runs down the battery life too quickly and puts more strain on your eyes then playing without 3D.

Dan Sanchez Im not too much into tactical games nor had i played any fire emblem game before, but damn i'm having a blast with awakening. The relationship system, cool (and surprisingly dark for a nintendo game) story and permadeath mechanic gets you instantly hooked and caring about your characters, also it has great graphics and the best looking cutscenes on a 3ds game ever, and in top of that, the use of 3d is so well done that for the first time you will want to actually use the 3d feature. To put it in a few words, buy it right now, it's worth every single penny

Honestly, Vita has a better library OVERALL, but 3DS has superior exclusive offerings. This could be a deal breaker to some, but to me having some of my favorite games on the go (like Borderlands 2, Rayman Legends or Mortal Kombat) is just as good as having some different exclusive games not available on my home console.

Let me stress 25, 21, 20, 18, 14, 9, 6, 5, 4, and 2 (especially 2) Those are all the ones I can vouch the most for. granted there were some other good ones, but this is a good list. I would not put ORAS on here because X and Y are the ones who built the hype train that ORAS rode in on.

I agree with most of the entries on this list, I just find the order to be a bit off. For starters, Awakening should have been #1. Also KI Uprising should have been higher as well. Also, Cave Story should have been MUCH higher on the list. It is one of my favorite games of all time, and I have dedicated countless hours to it.

There was an indie game on the eshop--I forgot the name, all I remember is that you play as a girl protecting this village from an apocalypse of some sort. It was AMAZING, and I was really hoping I'd see it on this list. Either way, I think this is a pretty good list, I just don't agree with the game that got first place xP (It was a fun and quirky game, don't get me wrong--but just a tad bit too easy, in my opinion).

PinkAlien Nah, I searched around on the internet for the game for quite a while and finally found it. The game's called 'The Lost Town: The Dust'. Sure, it had it's flaws. And I was pretty young when I played it. But I thought it was a pretty fun game and wouldn't mind revisiting it.
