The trick is you have to keep smoking. Seven or eight times a day, including night time, and then you will be fine. It is when you stop for a day then smoke again that the feelings come. If I stopped I always made sure that the first smoke of the day, I smoked by myself away from people out in nature, the woods nature trail or even a cemetery.

PTSD might not be schizophrenia, but it definitely fucking changed me. I was lucky that I was able to overcome it over time (though I have never been the same since then, and not for the better), but when I was in the deepest throes of it -- and I mean in my everyday life, not just when I was experiencing flashbacks/triggers -- it absolutely changed me. Of *course* it did. I was traumatized. I couldn't laugh, smile, relax; it felt like my entire personality was wiped out, and I was in constant agony inside. I won't pretend to understand schizophrenia like anyone that has it - conversely, please don't make such casual comparisons of your illness to others. I love your channel, it's incredibly interesting - but please don't be disrespectful towards the illnesses or traumas of others, *_especially_* if you haven't researched it and you're fully ignorant on the matter.

What if you have schizophrenia because you are too smart/sensitive? Like you get to a point where you have too much information or something then you breakdown, and the illness manifests itself because of the breakdown and you see things differently. Does that make any sense?

I have the same story. I've had it all my life but only found out a month after I turned 15. It really does allow you to think more. If anything it makes you overthink. I hate this illness because of what it doesn't allow me to do yet I love it because of who it makes me as a person. Since I've had this my whole life, i can't imagine how I'd be without it. Because my very personality comes from the disorder.

I think mental illnessess can give you a very different perspective on the world. I have DP/DR, i have overthinked and overanalyzed my existence so much i feel like i've lived for centuries. Past lives. Feelings i can't describe. I don't know, it's beautiful. I wouldn't want to be a shallow, all-content-with life and myself person.
@eleneazmaiparashvili40807 жыл бұрын
I guess the problem with schizophrenia mainly happens after one loses the old personality before finding the new one... some people get so confused... they basically no longer have the ground under their feet to support them while their personality is shattered... Your new person is really beautiful Jacob... and you know you are strong as a person... that's why you can still be happy and still love and be loved... You know you can lose your identity today due to schizophrenia or stress, or something else but have the strength inside to find the new better person inside... It's not a delusion... I am not a schizophrenic but I have been losing my identity due to various reason throughout my life and have been finding the new updated versions that have always been deeper... wiser... more experienced... more loving and empathetic.. and stronger... Whatever happens out there believe in your strength... believe in Love... You are unique... it's not a disease... It is you... monks are fasting and depriving themselves of sleep in order to get those heightened sensations... but they also routinely pray and exercise in order to be stronger to withstand these new sensations without been blown away by them... too keep inner integrity... to be open to change means you are strong enough to regenerate... I really hope you are and always will be.... Thanks for sharing...

Agreed.
@roybelovoskey58957 жыл бұрын
It's quite similar to bipolar 1 because they both can be induced by marijuana and they both can lead to psychotic episodes. It's similar to ADHD because people who have either illness have dysfunctional frontal lobes. It's similar to OCD because of obsessive thoughts. The only thing not beautiful about schizophrenia is that your brain breaks down faster than normal (abnormal nuerotransmitters pruning). People who have bipolar seem like 4 completely different people that alternate depending on the mood and energy level. I think you see the relationship between all things easier than other people which is similiar to manic people.

I have schizophrenia and so does my boyfriend (we've been together about five months) and it can make the relationship difficult at times but he is my confidant and someone who actually understands when I'm talking about meds, or symptoms. I hate taking meds. I don't take them if I can get away with it. He's very compliant with his but medication has nearly killed me (Clozapline fucked my heart up) so now I'm even more wary of them than I was before. I think I'm becoming sick again. I don't want to be sick. But meds do nothing for me.

Hi. I have a friend who's schizo and he's depressed has mood swings and such, mostly depressed. Do you by, any chance, know people who are such, depressed apart from base condition? He's on clozapine and diazepam.
@LucySheridan-cr5zc7 жыл бұрын
Clozapine has been linked to depression because it affects the dopamine levels in the brain
@codergames7 жыл бұрын
***** So what shall I say to my friend, he doesn't know that. He's even suicidal. I spoke about to another participant here and he told me the list of the meds he's taking. So, finally I got my friend to think about changing meds and finally letting know his doctor about depression and not always telling how everything is fine, because it's not, obviously, it's quite the opposite. He was telling the doctor he's fine while being suicidal and severely depressed. I didn't know this was the case. Thank you!

I hate when people use anxiety for attention.... Because I have anxiety and I'm extremely embarrassed of it. I try especially hard to hide it from people.... I would be petrified if someone saw me having a panic attack even my parents. But Sally Mcfuck in public is just like "I HAVE ANXIETY" Like do you really? ... because that shit isn't something you should want people to know .... unless they're like your doctor or something. then again everyone's different. Maybe it isn't as big if a deal to some people... Maybe I'm just too worried about self image.

Ptsd changes the way a person lives, and that in itself kinda changes them. Like if they're aware of their triggers, they'll live around them. And depending on what those triggers are, it could totally destroy their ability to function as an entire human being-their potential is just sliced in half, and in the end what's left of them is definitely different compared to what they could've been (without ptsd). So yeah it changes people.
@vikivzg53417 жыл бұрын

Hey guys, have any of you tried B12 vitamin supplement and does it help in schizophrenia? I read it works in all CNS depressions and nerve issues. Search it and you'll find a lot of info. I know it works in insomnia and fatigue, because I used it myself and in those cases works greatly. Also vegans become deficient in B12 and iron with time, so it's useful for all of people who don't eat animal stuff.

Sorry but most people who are suicidal are not suicidal because they want to be pitied. They're suicidal because they're in intense mental anguish and they want it to stop. I have clinical depression with psychotic symptoms and at my worst I 100% believed the world would be a better place without me and that I deserved to die. There was no rationale behind it, I was just delusional and in terrible pain. I don't want to be like this any more than you want to suffer from your worst hallucinations.
