Even employer PF will also be included in CTC, employee PF will be deducted from salary So when you calculate inhand you have to deduct pf with 2 multiplier.

The figure is absolutely wrong.. for 26.5 you will never get 1.84 in hand.. max to max 1.6 to 1.65 with a very good tax declaration + PF can never be 1800, aram se it will be 12,000 so you can further reduce 10k

An easier way to calculate inhand is dividing fixed salary by 14.5 to 15.5, gives the upper and lower bounds - its a thumbrule, mostly works, can check.

The reason why you get this huge salary is because of the work load Yes, you would be working day and night. The most hectic and highest paid job in the field of mba is of Investment Banker and their average working hours are 80-100 hours/week.This job is about only money and work 24x7. You can also go in consulting and if you do cfa level 3 you can easily land a job anywhere on this earth. Bba+ mba finance+ cfa level 3 bro Paisa he Paisa but kaam b karvya jyga din raat.

Hi, I am a 3rd year Btech student now, and I would be in my final year if I apply for CAT this year(2024), but my Btech final exams would be held on June 2025. So should I appear for CAT this year or the next year. I am having this doubt Because I am eligible to sit for the exam this year (since final year students are eligible to sit for the exam) but I am not eligible to take admission anywhere (since all MBA B schools start before 15th June) if I go sit for the exam this year. It is high time that IIMs revisit their curriculum. It should be designed to solve problems confronting our country and not only to serve corporate interests. We do not have any expertise in city management and the cities like Bangalore, Calcutta etc which have this prestigious management institute, are managed pathetically. Despite enjoying vast space in the center of the city these institutes hardly contribute anything to the city. If you stand outside the campus of IIM Bangalore, you will see a well laid layout with manicured lawns, large conference halls, etc but if you step out of the campus, you will find traffic bottlenecks, potholed roads, noisy traffic etc. When the management institutes do not have this basic problem solving skills for the country and they are trained only to serve corporate interests, why should the government invest so much money in these students? It should be made compulsory for IIM students after their studies at least 3 years to serve the government bodies and offer solutions to the pressing problems for the country. They should be sent to serve small towns and rural areas to understand the governance issues and suggest solutions to the problems. The government should utilize management expertise instead of only serving the corporate interests in India and abroad.
