Great information and walk through video. If I may add, as a two-time owner of the iKamper RTT's, after buying an iKamper the iKamper Company distances itself from any major problems or issues you may have with your RTT. The customer service is ONLY via email. There is no CRM - period. There is no service center department to call and speak with anyone from the iKamper company itself. I just ordered my second RTT from them ( my first experience was great by the way) and they lost it during the shipping. I called the shipping company and am trying my best to locate my iKamper RTT. I just want people to know that although influencers are my people, iKamper is not straight up honest. They will leave you on the hook for your $$$ spent. They got theirs.

Do you think this would work for a family of 6. We have a Yukon xl and 4 kids 4 and under
@halohalohikers35712 жыл бұрын
It could work for a few years since they are all under 4. Think of it as a king size mattress. If you can fit all 6 of you on that king size at home, then you can fit in the tent. If you wife (who doesn't look like she's 5'8") can set this up on top of a huge pickup truck while it's pretty windy, that's a well designed tent. These things are pricey but all the reviews I've seen: their owners swear by their reliability and design. If this stupid scamdemic ends, I'll try to pick up one of these. Yeah, it's going to be hard on the bank but it would be perfect on top of a tiny trailer. I like that you have a raised frame. I might consider something like that to squeeze more room out of the trailer. Just so many decisions here. The biggest problem is finding out how to hitch the trailer to a VW Golf with a turbo engine. On the other hand, this is why a stick shift isn't bad, you can skip around gears and force the transmission to stay in 2nd or 3rd while coasting down short hills.
