I placed mine the same way under the housing that holds the mirror and have had nothing but problems, sometimes it works, sometimes not.

What is the purpose of the bar code if this faces inside? Will this still work?

The bar code works only as a S/N and for the toll on the road, it recognize the wire coiled embedded within the whole sticker for charging.

Go to your Ipass account you will find the option to order the sticker
