I spent 2 years in the region around the First Gulf War and have felt the shocking injustice in the Occupied Territories, travelling around on my bicycle. The current destruction of Gaza and the endless slaughter by the Israeli modern war machine, keeps me awake at night. Hereby I want to apologize for my people, the Dutch. Our politicians, with a few exceptions, stand by Israel and so do most of the Dutch people, I believe.
