Sadly, almost everything he is saying is factually untrue. Ethnic cleansing? Genocide? We have a population of over 2,000,000 Arabs in Israel. Actually a very prosperous minority. Well in the case of the Americas, there is something to be said for this. Who spoke Spanish, or English there before the arrival of Columbus? Nobody. In the case of Israel, we had 3500 years of Jewish history there prior to 1945. Recorded history. The tombs of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are with us this day, at the cave of Machpelah in Hebron, to which Jews and Muslims are in complete agreement. Sure, we were a minority during most of the time A.D. True, it was conquered by Muslims in the 7th century. But we were always aspiring to return, whether from Europe, Asia, or Africa. And always had significant communities in Israel, and while in exile maintained the language, holidays, calendar, customs, and national identity in general that originated in Israel. I think western liberals have been naive in the assumption that if you offer democracy people will take it and then liberal values will naturally follow. I think 'settler colonialism' is where a people take and live in the land that is taken: permanently; thereby making it 'their country'. Trad' Colonialism is where land is taken but governed and managed from the home country - they might do this with a governor and military presence.

Steve Bannon's comment does not imply anything about race, that's an outright falsehood. It's incredibly ironic that Max would make a statement like that given the subject at hand. Engaging in mindreading/projection is making an argument without argumentation. One of the primary fallacies promoted in our post-Marxist educational system is the conflation, I would say deliberate, of race and culture.

I lived on a kibbutz in 1972 and there was an Arab living on land adjoining in peace. A local bedhouin tribe picked the fruit grown on the kibbutz.
