Hello Weylie! When I turned 30, I was in the worst place mentaly. I had soooo much anxiety that it turned into depression. I want everyone to know that things get better. Take time for yourself, seek help from a therapist and take medication if you need too. You'll be fine. I promise. I'm 37 now and I am glad I went trougt it even if that was hard. It taught me a lot about myself. Anyway, enjoy your weekend 😊😊

I had chronic anxiety for all of my early 20’s. I would overthink every single day. I even had health anxiety for a few months. The day i accepted Jesus as my lord and savior was the day I stopped being a slave to my own mind. Anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts etc it’s all feelings from the devil. God will never put those feelings in you. The devil will prey on you because he sees your weaknesses and it’s ur job to pray your worries and problems onto God. Let go and let God. Put all your struggles onto him and trust that he will take care of things. The devil says things like “follow your heart” but God says “follow me because your heart will deceive you”. I finally found peace when I built a relationship with God. Everything will work out the way God plans.

Maybe try a camping checklist. I have ADHD so lists help keep my life in order. Check things off as you pack... camp setup, meal items, cooking utensils, doggie stuff, bathroom stuff, camp cleanup stuff. Can't wait for a sisters camping trip! 💖

I’m so grateful for your vlogs, Weylie! As also a 30something, I can relate with the anxiety. I’ve become so good at masking that even my closest friends didn’t think I was feeling this way but yeah the slightest thing could trigger me and I’d cry the moment I’m alone. Anyway, thank you for sharing your camping trip with us! I love camping and wish I could do it more often but I’m so scared of going out alone I usually go with my brother and his family. Take care and I can’t wait for more camping vlogs 😊

Girl, I can relate. Have been dealing with anxiety and depression for awhile now. It's about finding the silver linings. Thank you for being honest and real about it. It's ok to be a little bit messy, life's challenges are tough. We're all trying our best. Whatever challenges you are facing now, know you can overcome them. One step, one day at a time. No pressure, just be, and breathe through it. You got this. Have been a supporter of you and Wah for awhile now, you two are good people, wishing you both God's favor and blessings.

I understand completely when you say that people see your videos or your post and say oh you look so happy but they don’t really understand the struggle and it is a struggle at least for me. It’s a daily struggle. Anxiety has been anchor that I have been caring with me for what feels like a lifetime 😩 if you only knew… it’s a lot!!!😔

Hi Weylie, I had watched your video since day one. Your videos makes my day better. Currently going through a lot finance wise and your video gives me comfort. It makes me feel much calmer inside. It looks fun camping through your videos but I doubt I can handle camping alone. CA have so many spots for camping. Where I live is quite limited. I start to have pains in my 30s so driving that many hours will kill me. I am impressed at the things you do.

Try not to cook in your tent if you ever try to backcountry camping (especially in bear regions/countries). The scent lingers and can be an attractant for wildlife to check out your tent.

The past 2 years I have been suffering from anxiety mainly because of health related issues and previous doctors that didn't provide concise information of what they diagnosed me with. Last year was bad where I believe I had a couple panic attacks which I felt were cardiac related and feared the worse. I went to get therapy for not only that but other things I felt were dragging me down and affecting me and changing doctors. I have to say I am doing A LOT better and getting back to enjoying life without fear. It really sucks when you forget gear for camping....but like you said "it is what it is" and just have to make the best out of it.

You should look into an awning for the jeep! ARB, and many other brands that make ones that mount to your roof rack and it’s so much easier than that shade thing

Weylie, can you please make a video of camping essentials with dogs? My partner and I are going camping for the first time with our two dogs in a few weeks ❤️
@makanimike2 ай бұрын
Is the awning actually wider than the roof rack? Or is the width the same (similar), and it's just an issue with the suction cups not being able to wrap around to the windscreen? If it is roughly the same width you should be able to rig up a solution to directly mount it to the roof rack, that should work quite well. A hook of some sort would be the easy option to test. Though I feel the awning probably wants to be fitted for both push and pull. Strong magnets would be the second mounting option I would try. If this works it would be super easy to deploy.
