I listened to Tim Conway a lot 10 years ago, and I’m glad to see that he is still preaching the word. I have strayed from the path since then, and I miss the church. How does one come back?

Like the prodigal son, with repentance and humility. Confess your sins to God and turn from them. You also said you miss the church, and I just want to make sure your motivation isn't necessarily for the church, but rather for Christ and His saving work. Do it because you need to, not just because you miss the church. Again I may have misunderstood you and maybe what you meant by missing the church is missing the faith, just making sure. It's great to have you back brother

This is something I often have been confused about. Not necessarily with forgiveness, but just in general how the if/then statements correlates with grace. This helps a lot! Great explanation, thanks for sharing!

My main issue is that so many seem to only forgive those in their chosen group, and do it for pretty much any infraction, but then continue to hold grudges against even the smallest infraction committed by those on the outside. Can't bring myself to be an evangelical or associate with the religious right in the USA as this is their biggest flaw.

Doesn’t bother me one bit! This is a precept of GOD & I do not question that I must forgive because I am forgiven. Remember the unforgiving Servant! It’s not works to forgive I am required to forgive if I am to be made new like Christ to do GODS WILL. He forgive I forgive as He forgives. ALL GLORY TO GOD.

Make sure your in your regular fellowship with Christians, in His word, in prayer and worship. God is sovereign. The Lord of Armies. If i were you i would not stop praying to God to save them and show them that He is THE Living God. Do not fear, but guard your ways with wisdom in the Fear of God.

Forgiveness is a commandment and part of our salvation. How can you be called yourself save if you don’t want to forgive? We always teach to others to forgive sợ Christ will forgive them also. Always listen to Jesus don’t listen to what your mind, heart emotions and your feelings. Act in the Word of God not on your own will. Forgive even you don’t like it.

I think the reason it's hard is because ministers have no idea on how to address grief or challenges. People on this earth who have no idea how to comfort people anymore. It's always warnings. People don't need warnings, they need comfort and hope. This is why the secular world has crumbled, because the pastor who went door to door to check in on his brethren is now standing atop a stage asking for their money without knowing their names

Not everything Jesus taught was supposed to be instructions for Christians. Part of Jesus ministry was to heighten the Law in order to make people realize how lost they were. Jesus said you need to be perfect.

Forgive them and pray for them. Forgiveness is a matter of a change in our hearts not saying words. You don’t have to keep people in your life but we are to pray for those that hurt us bless them that curse us.

I wouldn’t say “forget em”. We should still pray for the best for the person. Now, we don’t have to hang around with a certain person but we should still forgive them, pray for them, and LOVE them.

It is not that unforgiveness is not pardonable... it is that if someone professing to a believer REFUSES to forgive, then Jesus says he will not forgive them. Does that mean that person has lost their salvation? No. Jesus point is: They prove by refusing to forgive that they themselves have never been forgiven. So what this does is challenges someone's perspective who says, "I know I'm saved, but I still refuse to forgive." The Bible would strongly warn that person.

Salvation is NOT about Jesus its about forgiveness. If you forgive a certain amount of people per say you are saved. Jesus has nothing to do with it

Jesus wasn't speaking to Christians, he was speaking to a jewish nation who would soon have the kingdom taken from them for failing to properly respond to the grace given them. This has nothing to do with Christians potentially losing their forgiveness because they have difficulty forgiving someone.

Faith without works is dead. Abraham offered up Isaac because of faith. Why is works so evil to christians? We obey gods law and do good works because we are saved. Look at Romans 3:31. Hyper grace and once saved always saved are doctrines of demons. We are judged by our works. Christ says repent is revelation to the 7 churches. Paul says that it's possible to lose our crown. We must obey and so good works....faith and works go hand in hand
