People have heard about my logo design ideas enough times lol. It simply involves me and a pen and a paper. But For KZbin videos, sometimes I see a design somewhere, and it sparks inspiration in me to make a video tutorial on it. Anyway thanks man, I do have a very good logo design tips video next week

Hello Mr. Satori, great design! Let me give you a tip for arranging the opacity in 4:10 much faster if you don't mind. You can achieve the same effect by masking the little rectangles with a ring shape at the same size which was filled with 4 freeform gradient dots. First dot starting at 100K, 2nd at 66K, 3rd at 33K, 4th at 0K. The K values and numbers of dots can differ but you get the idea. Great tutorial, peace!

Yes that would work as well, thanks for that!

Great video as always!!! And yes I like the idea of logo critiques! Maybe even too your own spin on them! That would be awesome! I’d love to see you recreate (and make better) some logos etc. I’m sure you have some better/faster ways of doing things and would love to see them! Keep up the great work!

I really like your tutorials. I have a question. Isn't it better for this design to play around the dashed stroke options instead of making those repeated squares and circles inside? I think its doable and will look the same. What do you think?

Hi, instead of selecting every rectangle for opacity, just put a circle on top with an "angle" gradient going from black to 0 opacity. :-) Pretty nice your tut's. With you I'm coming slowly back to Illustrator. I'm a Photoshop nerd/art director , you know , one of the pixel guys , hehe... I started with adobe in/at my training as graphic designer with Photoshop 1.0, what you can actually run in your browser. Anyways, keep going and THX! I'm WATCHING you !!!

Hey! Yeah, about the design, I'm used to specified steps blend, then replace the spine. Your way is too manual :P Looks great though, so if it works, it isn't wrong! And about the critique, yeah. I think it would be interesting, yeah. But need to focus on what to critique, in my opinion. Because YT is flooded by logo critique. Not that isn't worth a try, but graphic design isn't just logo. Have a nice weekend, Tom!
@SatoriGraphics6 жыл бұрын
Yeah oldskool I guess, I've shown the replace spine method before in videos, and probably should have used it here.
