In spite of the fact that Blacks seldom play instruments, they are given credit for all music and that's a bunch of crap. A lot of credit given out for songs they didn't write and styles they don't have. Nothing personal, but I've never heard of a Black drummer. If you say you are, okay. Much like a large extended family, sure there will be some minor disputes . However when the need arises, you don't hesitate to rise up together to protect your own. His song depicts that very unity, help each other and stand united. Whoopi is way off base with her lil click, trying to defame a good person. Just cause she's jealous, that she'll never reach the same connection as he already has. Back in the day, Whoopi was a great actress in movies like "Jumping Jack Flash & Ghost". But since then, she steadily declined from being well liked. To now being seen for her true self, and she is going to lose what pull she assumed she had.

And lived a normal life with Some pain but he is still alive.Right before my Mother passed in 2019, we discussed how it was a miracle my brother was still alive with a " stint" from his brain to his abdomen. People who had that type of surgery normally don't live that long. As we were talking she said.." If it wasn't for the " Baptist Church" near our old home many year's ago, your brother would have never made it. She then proceeded to tell me how that entire " Black Congregation" got on their knees and prayed for my brother.Tears filled my eye's, I said, " Mom" " How did they know?" She said, " I never told the Pastor anything", " I guess " God" does work Miracles"

Thanks to all of the complaining about this song, I finally heard it for the first time today and I love this song! I got no patience for the racist idiots who assume that this is a song about the Black community..so only black people commit crimes? Apparently that's the opinion of the people complaining the loudest about this song.. THOSE are the people that exemplify what's wrong with this country! There are good people and bad people of every color- this song is about putting a foot down against the bad in people,regardless of color..it has nothing to do with race. We all gotta spread more love around ❤☮️ 🌞 Love your reaction video!

The song has been out since May. People didn’t really start raising a ruckus until the video came out. There isn’t one thing wrong with the song or video. I was raised in a small town in Southeast Texas and still live there. It’s about kindness, community and being a friendly decent human being. When I see a person the first thing I notice is their eyes and if they are smiling. We wave at strangers and help someone we see that may be in need. We all watch out for each other and don’t put up with crime, period. I will say a phone is the second thing I reach for…my firearm will always be first. Thank you so much for your reaction. I was born in Chicago and my wife is from a small town in southern Illinois. It is two totally different worlds. We live in the suburbs now and I cringe whenever we have to go back into Chicago for doctor’s appointments, other business, or just tourist activities. Last year we had a drive by occur from three cars behind us while we were sitting at a red light. Just last week two guys were racing each other on motorcycles on the sidewalk where shoppers and children were walking. My wife’s small town is exactly like the song. The biggest inconvenience is having to leave extra time when going to Walmart because you will meet someone you know and talk awhile. When I go to the tobacco shop to buy my cigars the owner always tells me to say hello to my wife. It seems like everyone there owns a firearm or several and yet there is rarely, if ever, a murder. When someone is sick or passed away they come together and bring meals to the family or hold an auction to help pay medical expenses. One of the town’s native sons was shot in the line of duty as a police officer in St. Louis. He was highlighted in the county fair parade. As the car he was riding approached us you could hear the roar of applause get louder. It really is a different world. They do have problems. There are not many jobs. The fire department is volunteer. There is the occasional meth lab and child abuse. Not only the police take care of it, but if you’re back out of jail you’d be better off moving somewhere else. They don’t put up with crime like that. Another song similar to this is about 40 years old and by Hank Williams Jr. called “A Country Boy Can Survive” and it compares rural and urban life nicely as well.

It`s a great song. I`ve listened to the song several times. And watched the video several times. I love the song and video. It sends out a positive message. It shows real news footage. Nothing is reenacted. Not only should this song be a motto for small towns. Burt for big towns, big cities, and small cities alike. My family came from two small towns. Zemach, Poland. Of course, that was during the first and second world wars. And Bradford, Pennsylvania. Families knew each other. That was in the 1950s and 1960s. And of course. In the 1970s and 1980s. After moving to Brooklyn, New York. Way after I was born back in 1968. The whole family, used to vacation in Lake George, New York. The mind set is different. Things move at a slower pace. And I believe. When people move from a small town, to a big city. They bring those small town values with them. Plus there are small towns all over the world. What the song basically says. One, or many people come here. Whatever garbage all of you plan on doing. Don`t do. And if you do. We`ll chase you out of here. But it also says. But it also says. You`re welcome to stay here. And not break the law. And don`t do any nonsense. At least that`s what I think. Plus. Back in 2009. I saw Jason Aldean and his band. live in concert. In the small town in Rhinebeck, New York, at The Dutchess County Fair. Him and his band put on a great show. And the ticket price was a decent price. At $25.00. And the concert was outside. It`s not like a major arena. Where it sits 40,000 thousand people. This outdoor grandstand sits at least, 500 or more people. I don`t see or hear any negativity in the song or video. But the short film shows the negativity from actual news footage. Because. back in 2020. After the Derek Chavin George Floyd incident. That`s all I saw on the news every day. A peaceful protest is one thing. Where many people march and chant. Maybe a few public speakers here and there. I don`t know. And call it a day and go home. But vandalizing personal, and municipal property. That`s not part of a protest. And that`s grounds for arrest and jail time. I don`t have a problem with real news footage being shown. But the left has a problem with it. And the leftist media problem with it. And the leftists Hollywood elitists, have a problem with it. And the few leftist musicians have a problem with it. Well, they need to stop whining. Grow up. Smell the coffee. Stop with the infantile behavior. And behave themselves properly. And stand with Mr. Jason Aldean and his song. And that`s the bottom line.

Jason Aldean thinks riots and violence doesn't happen in small towns. What Jason Aldean forgets is that all those small towns (in the south, and some in the north too) "Main Street" used to be named "Lynch Street" because they were the origin of race riots and mob violence. Those small towns burned crosses in people's front yards, and smashed the windows of every minority owned business that dared open, and not in one night or week of protest, but for decades.

The political base for today's progressivism is not the working class like the old progressives, but the educational, cultural, media, and economic elites. The center of that ideology is Ivy League universities spreading out to others (the more elite, the more progressive), the New York Times, Hollywood, government - not the fields and factories. The income and power disparities between, say, the top 10% (of any race) and the rest is vastly greater than the differences between ordinary people of different races, so they are saying "look over there - that's your real enemy" so we won't notice. It's convenient for them to diffuse the blame to include working class white people (and exclude wealthy Black people). Have the ordinary people fight among themselves for the crumbs, by fostering a racial divide as "the real problem". We have to stick together in a multi-racial coalition of ordinary people, treating each other with mutual dignity, and working together to fix the real problems faced by real people, rather than the contrives problems they want to make us concentrate on. I want to nuance this a bit; I know a lot of progressive people and most of them are decent caring people. I'm not saying that all of the elites are consciously conspiring to produce the situation I described above (tho I can see how it could be taken that way). It's more that a certain radical perspective hatched in parts of academia has appealed to people at the top of society, for unconscious reasons. This is more about assessing the situation we find ourselves in, rather than trying to demonize any group of people or impute evil intentions. However, we know what the road to H is paved with. I don't want to harm those people, I just want to trim their disproportionate power over the rest of us.

I love ya girl. I am in my 50’s and grew up in Illinois and Kansas in small towns. You are right there is no racism in that song at all. In my time if your neighbor was sick you helped out. If there was a family in the town that needed help ya just pitched in and helped. I really don’t get where it all comes from with the racism stuff. We all need to get back to the roots of loving caring and helping each other the way we did so many years ago.

This song represents the very spirit of this country. It's community, it's supporting each other, it shows a strong moral compass. It is not racist, it's not religious, nor does this video encourage violence. It shows that in any small town no matter the color, you don't show respect in it, you get none in return.
@psyamok3735 Жыл бұрын
I listened to this song many times trying to understand why it is offensive. This song basically is a patriotic song that exposes the group of people that is causing havoc in our country and disrupting the foundation of our core values and beliefs. The small towns are symbolizing our traditional American values and beliefs and would not let this group of people destroy our country. Only those being exposed would find this song offensive and want to shut it down. It is time we all unite together to get rid of those perverts and criminals from our societies.

This is a great song regardless if you like country music or not. It pulls at your heart and makes you open your eyes to how far our country has fallen. Hurts alot. The main reason so many people despise this song is because it exposes what they think is ok but it's pure evil & UnAmerican!
