Didn’t know the brand but BECAUSE of you now I do. I luv the sound quality, accuracy, and depth of the bass notes on this one. This sub is filling without overpowering the music, which is exactly the sound quality I prefer. Great job‼️‼️

Just picked up a pair of Id8 but d2's about an hour ago for $40 bucks for the pair. Was searching these on KZbin and ran across your video. Granted they're not the ones like yours that unbolt and entire assembly comes out in one piece. I've got a pair of the V3 12" that do. But thought these pair of 8s for $40 bucks was not bad at all. Love your videos, keep up the good work fam.

I had 2 IDQ 12s in my Alero back in 2000 with a Phoenix Gold XS2500, and it KILLED. I made big suburbans with systems turn theirs off. Lol! I’ll be using them in my Infiniti soon.

Ive used Image Dynamics in all of my daily driver builds since the late 90's. They also sound great in sealed and 1:1 bandpass enclosures.

years ago i got the idq12 for the same price. still have it. its a very nice and accurate sub. hits hard, stops and starts fast. not super high spl but good enough. have it in a sealed box. 350 watts from zapco. freaking amazing. i am going to build a vented box this summer. using win isd, i see there is huge gains to be had in the 30-40hz area.

Yea I can hear the different between the IDQ and Vega like u were saying. Vega gives that up close tighter bass and loudness while the IDQ carries. Some reggae would sound dope on the IDs for sure.

I have a pair of ID12s currently. They are clean and loud. Would the IDQ12s have noticeably more output. I have a Fosgate T1500BDCP so I should have enough amp to make the switch without an issue.

Hey im looking at a Image Dynamics ID-MAX12 V4 D4 - 12inch subwoofer. I cant find much feedback but it seems more like a SQ sub vs SQL sub.... Am i correct??? I want one 12inch sub that will thump great in my chevelle and not take up the entire trunk. Your advice is appreciated.

Yes, it's more sq oriented. It won't get "loud" per se. But, it will sound really good when put in the right enclosure.

An IDMAX is a beast of a sub. It'll be as loud as you'd ever need. Sound good, too. Did you get one for the Chevelle?

Wish i found this channel before hand! ive heard that sub does real good in a sealed enclosure thats another reason for the soft suspension! i have a 15 sierra crew cab i had a kicker comprt 10inch truck box with the passive radiator i sold it and put together a box for 4 8s and chose the skar vd 8 one for the shallow depth as the box is angled and bigger subs like the evl 8 or sundown sa wont fit because of the magnet size can you tell me how wide the magnet is on the the idq 8 i would love to swap the skars out because i was so disapointed in the skar vd they sound like crap maybe they would be good in ported box but my kicker box was louder and sounded better and my amp is rf t1500bdcp with gain turned down of course its a beast! MBEnclosures LLC oh wow really? Thought a aero port you could get away with less. Good to know! Another question. I use12volt.com for the the length of a port and what not. So example if a single aero port suppose to be 7”, and I wanna go ahead and use 2 port the port length becomes longer, I think like 22” or something. Is that each port or is that divided amongst the two ports?
