10:17 Just a little reminder to everyone; the hymen is not a tamper-proof seal in the vagina. It can remain intact after sex if you're sufficiently aroused, and it can break from non-sexual activities such as gymnastics. It makes sense that a convent wouldn't know this, given a lot of people in general don't know this, but I just wanted to add this little disclaimer to hopefully help dispel the hymen virgnity myth

I've been pregnant twice and yes teeth can indeed fall out due to it. This happens when the growing fetus doesn't get enough calcium and will take it from the teeth and bones of the mother. Thankfully this didn't happen to me because I made sure to take pre-natal vitamins which is why they are prescribed during pregnancy to start with.

My roommate didn’t want to watch the movie because she automatically assumed because Sydney Sweeney was the lead and there were nuns getting pregnant, it was going to be very s*xual and just a lot of intimacy scenes but I knew it was just a lot of great gore. Sydney Sweeney is a great actress, who is gorgeous yes, but I think has shown especially in this film that she is very talented and able to do more than just a romantic lead or her Euphoria character (who is very complex herself but people can’t get over the s*x scenes for some reason). I think if she keeps going down the horror route she could be another great scream queen because this film was jarring, weird, messed up and fun to watch which isn’t easy to pull off but she did great in it. The scene of her running while covered in blood is iconic in itself and the fact that she wanted to go all in on the gore is awesome. I wish more people enjoyed the weird horror films that aren’t straight forward slashers we get nowadays. This film and so many of the new horror films we have been getting in the last years that go against the formula are awesome and should be respected more

6:46 lemme explain: the "brides of jesus" is an often used metaphor used in the bible to refer to believers in christ. This is because the church (as in, the people) is meant to be married to Jesus, as in joined in sacred union. Furthermore, in Catholicism, nuns are often called thusly as a way to refer to their devotion. They cannot marry for they are married and devoted wholly to God. Hope this cleared things out!!

He can’t until it comes out on Blu-Ray. Also, comment requests are never considered. Emails are the only way to request a Kill Count.

12:10 what makes me laugh in this point of the video is seeing a pack of cigarettes in the drawer of a convent.

This was great. I’ve been giving you guys shit for a while but I really appreciated how James kept it fun and balanced with not too much film buff stuff and more of James showing his charisma and humor.

i love the universal experience of people who live in the suburbs of big cities using the phrase "just outside of [city]" to avoid getting attacked by people who grew up in those cities lol. as someone who grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, i will NEVER say I grew up in Philly bc no tf I didn't lmaoooo

Would love to see you James in a horror movie where either your the villain or the final guy and your better half as the villain
@toyohimeyeswatatsuki69176 ай бұрын
Final Guy might not be option as James want to be killed in his own horror movie

Very much off topic from the whole kill count but that little cat plush seen briefly at 5:11-5:15, 5:26-5:29, and at 5:36-5:38 is the cutest thing and I must know where I can get one.

really happy I'm back here at the comment section cuz I'm from one of the flooded regions in Brazil and almost became part of a real kill count... the podcast and the few episodes I had downloaded kept going for a few days while isolated 🥺💕

I love the way the the kill count wasted no time to be the best Chanel to summarize many movies in the genre of horror wich is why this is my favorite Chanel ever.
