I've been pregnant twice and yes teeth can indeed fall out due to it. This happens when the growing fetus doesn't get enough calcium and will take it from the teeth and bones of the mother. Thankfully this didn't happen to me because I made sure to take pre-natal vitamins which is why they are prescribed during pregnancy to start with.
@barchenbox53934 ай бұрын
Because of this I took those scenes to mean that the doctor at the convent was indeed really bad at taking care of Cecilia, not even giving her sufficient nutrients. Also showing that they did not care about her a whole lot, other than being an incubator.
@Wolfbane3824 ай бұрын
I can tell you firsthand that unless you're studying to become a doctor/OBGYN, want to become a parent, or are a parent already; most people have no idea what all goes into caring for another life inside you. I love my two, but I would never go through that again. It was hell on me.

@Wolfbane3824 ай бұрын
@@reddog1281 I'd say that it's different for each person. I didn't really crave ice cream with either of mine. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I ate Subway sandwiches every day for 6 months straight. When I was pregnant with my son, however, I couldn't eat eggs without throwing them right back up. I also craved more salty things with him. The strangest craving combo I ever had was pickles and orange juice.

10:17 Just a little reminder to everyone; the hymen is not a tamper-proof seal in the vagina. It can remain intact after sex if you're sufficiently aroused, and it can break from non-sexual activities such as gymnastics. My roommate didn’t want to watch the movie because she automatically assumed because Sydney Sweeney was the lead and there were nuns getting pregnant, it was going to be very s*xual and just a lot of intimacy scenes but I knew it was just a lot of great gore. Sydney Sweeney is a great actress, who is gorgeous yes, but I think has shown especially in this film that she is very talented and able to do more than just a romantic lead or her Euphoria character (who is very complex herself but people can’t get over the s*x scenes for some reason). I think if she keeps going down the horror route she could be another great scream queen because this film was jarring, weird, messed up and fun to watch which isn’t easy to pull off but she did great in it. The scene of her running while covered in blood is iconic in itself and the fact that she wanted to go all in on the gore is awesome. I wish more people enjoyed the weird horror films that aren’t straight forward slashers we get nowadays. This film and so many of the new horror films we have been getting in the last years that go against the formula are awesome and should be respected more

really happy I'm back here at the comment section cuz I'm from one of the flooded regions in Brazil and almost became part of a real kill count... the podcast and the few episodes I had downloaded kept going for a few days while isolated 🥺💕

I really hope James does the Killjoy series at some point. It's really a underated series.

As a pro wrestling fan, I love horror too and it's AMAZING when you make wrestling references. I always laugh so much and these hit so hard always for me!

i love the universal experience of people who live in the suburbs of big cities using the phrase "just outside of [city]" to avoid getting attacked by people who grew up in those cities lol. as someone who grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, i will NEVER say I grew up in Philly bc no tf I didn't lmaoooo

12:10 what makes me laugh in this point of the video is seeing a pack of cigarettes in the drawer of a convent.

I didn't really like Immaculate, but I did like The First Omen. It came down to Immaculate's odd pacing and it feeling a bit like the Sydney Sweeney show. The First Omen seemed a lot more like a proper horror movie to me in terms of hitting its inflection points storywise, the acting, diversity of characters, etc.

I like that all of Cecelia kills are religious in a way with the crufix,rosary,christ nail,and rock which matches psalm 137:9 which talks about dashing your babies against the rocks

Would love to see you James in a horror movie where either your the villain or the final guy and your better half as the villain
@toyohimeyeswatatsuki69174 ай бұрын
Final Guy might not be option as James want to be killed in his own horror movie

Cece is such a good horror heroine, her arc is really good and even though she changed so much, im still 1000% on her side

You should do a kill count on The Outsider, it's based on a Stephen King novel. It might be a series but it was pretty good

I’m a new fan of the channel and this is the first episode I’ve seen on drop day. Glad to hear this movie looks and sounds a lot better than I had pegged it for when I first saw the trailers. Respect to Sydney for wanting this movie and pushing hard for it to get made.
