Fungi are recognised by cells of the innate immune system (e.g. dendritic cells and macrophages) which bind components of fungal cell walls using pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) on their surface.

So there is a coordinate interaction between the innate and adaptive system when it comes to eliminating fungi, but is there an immune cell that predominates? If there had to be a choice between one or the other, which would you say play the biggest role: neutrophils, macrophages, or Thelper cell? Another way to phrase it would be which deficiency of one of those components would put a pt most at risk of susceptibility to fungal infections?
@animatedbiologywitharpan2 жыл бұрын
It's T helper cells which are the most important

@Haleigh Alyssa meat is the absolute worst thing you can introduce to “heal” any aspect of your body as humans are not carnivores. We are frugivores. Fruit and a combination of natural herbs is the best way to truly heal your body. Meat is highly acidic, it is a major contributor to cardiovascular disease and many others. Mainstream pseudo science industry’s such as our current Pharma and Medical industry are willfully ignorant and do not actually heal people. Instead of looking at treating symptoms, we need to find the source of what is causing the body to deteriorate. When humans eat an unnatural diet you will have unnatural “diseases”.
