Nice vid. Thanks for addressing the assessed value in relation to market value. As I browse Zillow, I often see that assessed value is way below market, and assume that a property will be reassessed at some point, skyrocketing the already high (to me at least) taxes. What triggers a reassessment? Is it the sale of the property? Or perhaps there's some sort of schedule? Thanks!

Reassessment occurs when the property is being listed for sale and the appraiser comes out to appraise it. So basically the sale of the property triggers reassessment.

As soon as you buy the house that will be the new value. If you do anything value added it will up the value. If the housing market tanks the assessed value won’t decrease. They come around and reassess every few years but it never goes down.

Zillow is notoriously inaccurate with some details. It's always wise to reach out to a local realtor to get a copy of the real listing. When in doubt about the accuracy of property assessment, boundaries, acreage, restrictions, I would reach out to the local assessor or town clerk for more reliable information.

Somebody said we have more jobs than we have housing for the workers and I think that's stupid. Problem is that the place is cost too much for your average worker and they're trying to gentrify the available workers by making conditions miserable for the people who have been there since covet. That's why I laughed in the face of that quitting your job movement that happened about a year ago. It was just a trap to allow some other a****** to take your job
