I’m confused. How come NH is so safe when they allow their citizens to own and carry guns, while Chicago is so violent even though guns are illegal? Interesting…

I've been here in New Hampshire for 20 years I would never live anywhere else, not one of the places that he said on his list is really that bad. New Hampshire has the lowest amount of gun violence in the country, but yet everybody here has guns

Living in Nashua NH is good if you are a white person. If you are homeless or low income will be a cold and dark living hell because nobody has you back. And police will be on you but 24hr.

Wow, what a scenic drive through Downtown Manchester! 🚗 Elm Street looks so lively and full of charm. Are there any must-visit spots or hidden gems along this route that you’d recommend exploring on foot?

Wow, the scenic beauty of this drive is incredible! It feels like I’m right there, cruising through New Hampshire’s charming roads. The 4K quality makes it even more immersive. What’s the best time of year to take this drive for the most picturesque views? I’m planning a visit and would love some tips!

I am a lifelong resident of Manchester and it has changed. We used to have a Monday shopping night on Elm Street. In high school we took the bus downtown. I think they have done a good job keeping Elm St Disneyfied but need to focused outward!

Ah! This video reminded me of how little I miss that grey filter that seemed to blanket NH for over half of the year. Manchester… a true blast from the past, hence its stagnant population over the past 3 decades. A depressing American city that most likely will never need to do or be anything more than what it already is. Thank you for the trip down memory lane.

The only 2 cities with any crime is Manchester and Nashua, it's because of the influx of people from Massachusetts. It's one of the overall safest states though.

I was really surprised to find out the Vermonters seem to have an extreme animosity towards NH, which I found strange because I never hear people in NH even really acknowledge Vermonts existence. The opposite is true with Maine, as people in both Maine and NH typically have nothing, but positive things to say about each other

Lmao in the picture introducing Rochester you can see the house I lived in when I was younger(very top left house) I forget the name of the park but the orphanage is on the right and the road at the bottom of the Pic that you can't see is main street that runs through downtown Rochester 😂 I've had many birthdays and easters at that park and the baseball field at the top which was right across the street from my house always turned into an ice rink during the winter. Edit: the park is named "the commons"

How autumn is killed by winter,it's beautiful to live in around the snow. The most pain is felt ,its due to drop of temperature. Before winter it's like living in fairyland, when we will cross the winter and reach the end of March ,the spring will be buzzing sounds musical.Anyway it's beautiful video,I m from Pakistan

It's funny when I see people complaining about places being shitholes yet they probably never traveled too far from their respective state or city. Some places are truly like this don't get me wrong but most are truly not as bad as what people say and some have rose colored glasses on and only remember the good of years ago and forget the bad during those years. From my research and my experience I rather live in Manchester than many of the so called nice areas to live like where I am currently in Arizona where everyone gushes over how "liveable" it is here when rent was around $1k for a one bedroom a few years ago and now i struggle to find one in a decent area for less than $2k trust me Manchester is doing just fine in comparison to other places I've been to.

I've lived in Nashua since 2020. I guess I missed the actual city part of it which just confuses me. Nashua is 100% the airport town that lives outside Manchester Airport. The sights of the town are nice. A blend of city and then a blend of areas feeling like Silent Hill with just more people and less fog. With that said, the biggest eye sore is the people. Idk what the hell is in the drinking water of Nashua but the people can be a work of art and a scary one. A mix of the people who have lost there way with drugs, the very impatient blue collar workers, The different communities like the Indian community. But then the people that go on about not being a state tax and buy a Tesla or Cybertruck. This town is 100% the wild west when it comes to people and the thought that some articles have stated Nashua to be the 4th safest city in NH, I call bullshit. Working in the local Shaws on March 3rd 2021 and having a mentally unstable man come to my line and hand a paper that he was robbing my register and alluding he had a gun while I spent the rest of my shift going to the police and making statements, yeah 4th safest my ass. Better places out there, this is definitely not the little nook to hide from the world.

I had just returned from Vietnam and went to a dance in Portsmouth. Although the people there were probably my same age, I was angry and felt like an outcast who was about to leave. A girl asked me to dance. Then she told me where to sit. Then she told me when to go eat and drink. She still bosses me around. We got married in 1976 and have children and grandchildren. Thank you, NH.

Internet is important but I pay the most attention to the availability of natural gas. The cost of heating one of those northern properties with oil, propane or electric would make property taxes look reasonable!

I can tell you probably did just research and read some stuff. I live in New Hampshire. My whole life, it gets way less no than it ever did. And it may snow, but it melts usually especially in the southern part of the state. In motorcycle riding, I'm an avid biker. You may not be able to ride year round, but it has some of the best motorcycle riding in the country. Especially in the fall for foliage, the lakes, our plentiful. There's so many lakes around every corner. The people are generally very nice. Maybe you should actually come here and visit. It's one of the best states live in and people are moving here at a high rate, and it does have a little bit of higher taxes and that also depends on where you live where I live. My house is assessed at $450000. My taxes are about $2800 a year. You might want to do more research

High property taxes may be a negative to some and a positive to others. High property taxes, in the absence of a lack of income and sales taxes is that you can choose how much you want to pay in taxes. If you want low taxes, live in a town with low rates and live in a property that's at the lower end of what homes are worth. In an absurd place, you could earn $1 million a year and own a $100,000 condo and pay $1,300 a year in property taxes. So your net rate of taxes on your income would be 0.13%.
