My sitting definitely felt very different after the first move, rolling the sit bones on the tip of the fingers. So cool!

Thanks for the great video! A great use of a blanket to clarify the skeletal connection!

Thanks Taro-- yes, I discovered this blanket roll almost 20 years ago to relieve some serious leg spasming while hiking down a mountain. I've been exploring this type of roll ever since.

Take your time. Sometimes it takes repetition or slowing down more to sense the bones.

Thank you Annie! this was wonderful and will share for sure . I am loving the bone focus. I often think brain moves muscles (if able to sense) Muscle moves bones. However It seems so much easier to find bones and the muscles are more relaxed instantly! Although I teach and practice allot of Somatics and functional movement , this is a wonderful add on! Your teaching is spot on and I LOVE learning from you! Thank you for all the work that goes into this! Dar

Thanks Dar-- I appreciate your comments and glad this lesson resonated with you. I have a lot more lessons for knees. Glad you can use and share this work with your people.

Thank you, Annie. I can really feel my sit bones after doing this. I have RA and knees very swollen; left hip has bursitis and tendonitis as well as fairly severe degeneration of hip bone. This has caused ankle pain. So ... I am trying this and other of your lessons. So grateful that you make these available to the global community.

Glad you are finding results with these lessons-- keep trying more, and repeat the lesson a few times to go deeper with the neurological connections they make. Keep me posted...

Thanks Annie, your channel is really helping me a lot. How far forward are you sitting on the bench or chair? Do you feel your hamstrings/bottom of thighs when you do these movements?
@SensingVitality3 жыл бұрын
Great... Yes, sit toward the edge so you have the primary support of your weight on your sitting bones. Best to not have much contact with your hamstrings/thighs-- I don't have much contact with my hamstrings/thighs-- I might feel just a little bit of my hamstrings but the weight should be mostly on the sitting bones. The sitting bones are a little like a rocking chair bottom. One of my videos shows that-- maybe you'll find that video. :)
