I had bricks in my shoulders and they are now gone - this is magic. Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge! I think one of the things we learn mistakenly in our youth is that stretching the muscles where you feel tension is the way to relieve the tension, but it doesn’t actually work that well. How much time and money could we save by doing exercises like this instead of going to get a massage, or pitting ourselves through painful and ineffective stretching?
@SensingVitality2 жыл бұрын
Glad to hear the bricks are gone! Yes, this is a much gentler approach to work with you nervous system, listening and finding skeletal support. It's fast and lasts. Glad you are finding so much relief.

Hi Annie! This excercise is really wonderful! Thanks so much for helping us relieve pain in such a gentle way. I would love to know if you teach this method to people for them to apply it on their lessos, with studets in the case of yoga teachers, and similar cases. Actually, I am a yoga teacher in Argentina, I teach restorative yoga focused on spine problems and stress, and these excercises would be a miracle. I hope you give online lessons🙇, if that is the case, or if you know how I can access to lessons like this, I would be so glad if you let me know. Thank you again for all your videos and generosity.

Thanks for Anne's Floss. Annie nervous system is wired , i think with my 1981 brain trauma it sees simple things as traumatic and things that are more trauma as less, maybe. Anyway my chest feels tight under my arm and armpit ribs waist feels nerves tension most of the time , so I think my brain has triggered these feelings my guess. What would you do for this, kind of tension, whatever is also making my belly hard.
@SensingVitality8 күн бұрын
This lesson is too much for you at this time with your situation. Whenever you feel triggered or that it's "too much", it's time to back off in the movement, do less. I'd recommend with these videos that you pause the video often after each direction. Let yourself feel the instruction and gently imagine it and then see how it feels to begin. It's important to slow down the sensations so you can make the connections you need for healing and recovery. Breathing and resting is helpful in between movements.

Nice! should someone tend to get dizzy from this kind of movement is there something different you would suggest with eyes?
@SensingVitality4 жыл бұрын
Hi, sorry to be so late responding to your question.... Dizziness may occur from too much movement with your neck. Particularly happens with folks who have had whiplash or other neck/head injury or sometimes fluid in ear (like Meniere's). Could things you could try-- sit on a stool or chair turned sideways to have your back against the wall-- so you can feel the wall with your back as you do this and don't move head back very far... you can also make much smaller movements with eyes.

Hi Annie, i understand this ought to help my shoulderand upper back , but, before i continue is there something ican do first,with my hand won't lift with my head there is pain in the back of my shoulder when i do that !?
@SensingVitality Жыл бұрын
Definitely don't force it. You could try this lesson on your side or on your back with your knees bent and reduce the amount that you lift your head back as you do it and then come back and try it said it again and see if it's easier.

@@SensingVitality i didn’t know how promptly you would be able to respond, i went for a short walk , walked backwards some moving my shoulders some, so i will forwards to trying on the side lying down i think was your thought?

Thank you. But it feels, like my head is too heavy :(
@SensingVitality3 жыл бұрын
This needs to be done very gently. If you were pushing a like too much or not sensing with the supporting arm then the head may move too far forward, giving a sense of heaviness from not being centered. You can try 2 other lessons to help bring your head back to center. They are in my neck playlist and one is pulling the ears, the other is with toning your neck. Check out those lessons and they should help with the heaviness in your head. You might have a little laxity in your ligaments in your neck that make your head go out of alignment a little more easily than most people. This can happen from having whiplash or some other head/neck injury in your past. Be gentle with yourself since your system can go out of alignment with pressure. Hope that helps
