Although it seems like this doctor’s videos are not watched by many people, I always watch them whenever he posts a new one. I pretty much watched all his old videos and I appreciate what he does..

Great content as always. Are Glutathione supplements “recycled” the same way as the Glutathione produced in the body.

Dr Ben Lynch has numerous videos on the biochemical pathways, enzyme cofactors(nutrients) as well as things (nutrient cofactors, lifestyles, and evviromental chemicals) that upregulate or downregulate the enzymes functions. Everyone has genetic snips however knowing what they are and adjusting ones lifestyle, exposures can go a long way in adapting to these for better health.😊

Your videos have been so helpful to me. I was recently put on BP meds and I am trying to safely get off and manage my BP naturally. Your videos are so informative. Any recommendations how patient’s might transition from amlodipine/other BP meds to Berberine & natural remedies?
@megpatricia31612 ай бұрын
Just be careful. I was on Amlodipine 2.5 mg. I was a healthy marathon runner and since my BPs lowered, my doc said I could stop taking it since it was such a small dose. 2 weeks later I suffered a hemorrhagic stroke and now have left hemiparesis.

N-acetyl-cystine helps raise glutathione from what I read years ago. What are your thoughts on that doctor? Can I take it and fast too?
@nsudatta-roy81543 ай бұрын
@@Followthechariot Its well established that NAC raises intracellular glutathione, but it has a short half-life. The therapeutic purpose for taking NAC would be the determiner for whether it's right for you.

How long of a fast to achieve these effects?
@tidavevital47443 ай бұрын
Start with 18 to 20 hours fast. That leaves you 4 hours to eat some healthy foods that can sustain you for the next 18 to 20 hours fast. Then little by little you can start fasting for 24 hours, then 36 and 48…

Doc thx for your post. I have a little "push-back." There is very little science supporting the glutathione methods you mentioned: oral, nasal etc. NAC works, but has a half-life of less than an hour and must therefore be "consumed" throughout the day, but may be toxic for some people. Liposomal glutathione cannot get into the cell. There's even question re whether it really survives digestion. None of these methods work as efficiently as being able to get cysteines directly into the cell. There are lots of clinical papers on this, and at least one PDR (drug side of the publication) also supporting this. As a licenced physician, this is what you should be sharing with your audience - established human controlled studies and not glutathione products that dont work. Respectfully submitted. Btw, id be more than happy to share these papers and method-of-use clinical abstracts using this a "treatment" for autism, TBI, Cancers, HIV etc.

Search on Google - Death from fasting. intermittent fasting (91% higher risk of death from cardiovascular disease) Has me thinking we need to have a good understanding before changing our diet, to avoid putting ourselves at risk.

Did you see this? (Look for this on pub med) "Oral supplementation with liposomal glutathione elevates body stores of glutathione and markers of immune function" Abstract Background/objectives: Glutathione (GSH) is the most abundant endogenous antioxidant and a critical regulator of oxidative stress. Maintenance of optimal tissues for GSH levels may be an important strategy for the prevention of oxidative stress-related diseases. We investigated if oral administration of liposomal GSH is effective at enhancing GSH levels in vivo. Subjects/methods: A 1-month pilot clinical study of oral liposomal GSH administration at two doses (500 and 1000 mg of GSH per day) was conducted in healthy adults. GSH levels in whole blood, erythrocytes, plasma and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were assessed in 12 subjects at the baseline and after 1, 2 and 4 weeks of GSH administration. Results: GSH levels were elevated after 1 week with maximum increases of 40% in whole blood, 25% in erythrocytes, 28% in plasma and 100% in PBMCs occurring after 2 weeks (P

@@Needless2say I saw that. I can show you 10 more that refutes that. This is a pilot study. EDIT: I'd like to see a study that shows the efficacy of liposomal glutathione in clinical applications: ie, Cancers, respiratory, cytokine storm, HIV, Intracellular detoxification, etc. Better yet, kindly post a caption to a larger long-term study using liposomal glutathione. Thx
