Hi, the main keyword that I'm trying to list for isn't making any sales. 80 clicks and 0 units ordered. Do you have any recommendations for this?
@scott_suggs3 жыл бұрын
That's a lot of clicks to go without a sale. If it is truly a relevant keyword, then it could be the product itself. But where I using start is looking at optimizing the listing (images, copy, A+ content, reviews), seeing if adding a coupon helps or testing different price points. If that all that is good and the product is doing well other for other keywords, sometimes there are situations where a relevant keyword just doesn't perform well with PPC for whatever reason.

Make sure to have enough social proof/customer reviews before targeting the main Keywords having high search volumes, as those are the Keywords where the top competitors are bidding aggressively and its very unlikely for newer listings to get sales from those KWs. It is recommended to target long tail/ descriptive keywords at start , and as you start gaining your BSR and Reviews you can go after more competitive keywords.

Hi All the groups should be created within one campaign while doing this trick?
@scott_suggs3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I prefer to do a separate campaign for each targeting type because it allows for better control of the budget. But you can also do this all within one auto campaign and have a separate ad group for each targeting type.

@@scott_suggs if we create 4 groups within 1 auto campaign then what daily budget would you suggest i mean 10 20usd etc
@scott_suggs3 жыл бұрын
@@ijazkhan3552 If you're doing all in one campaign then the minimum for me would be $10. But you can do higher as well. It depends on your budget and product and the average CPC of the product.

How to Setup Ad Scheduling for Amazon Advertising Campaigns?

What are you meaning by ad scheduling? How to set a date for the ads to start or how to only have the ads run during certain times?

@@scott_suggs how to run the ads on certain times & days on Amazon?
@scott_suggs3 жыл бұрын
@@sivamokkala Unfortunately Amazon doesn't have their own option specifically for this right now. One way you can do it is by turning on and off the ads for the times you want. Most PPC software can help you automate this for you.

Hi Scott, This is a great, brief video. Your energy and information is presented in an y easy-to-understand format. What would be an effective strategy for an author with a first "self-help" book target? Thanks, L.
@scott_suggs2 жыл бұрын
Hi! I haven't done PPC for a book before, but here are some thoughts on how it could be approached. You could do an Auto campaign like in the video, and if your budget is tight I'd just start with the close match targeting only. You could also do a product targeting campaign and target similar self-help books on Amazon, and you could do a keyword campaign targeting keywords related to your self-help niche (an Amazon keyword research software would help to find phrases to target). It's hard to say what would work best without testing first. Amazon PPC at first is a lot of trial and optimizing.

Hi Scott, Great content as usual, thank you for this. Quick question, when working with the sponsored products search term report, do you sort the spreadsheet in any specific way to more easily see what's working and not? Thanks! ~ JD
@scott_suggs3 жыл бұрын
I usually evaluate a few different ways to get a full picture. The common ones I sort by are ACOS or ROAS, spend, number of clicks, and orders. And then I also take note of my organic ranking for keywords before deciding whether to pause them or keep them going. PPC can help organic rank and sometimes it can hurt it. And then if it's an Auto, Phrase or Broad campaign I'm always looking at the customer search terms to see if there's a keyword phrase or word I want to add to my negative keyword list.

bro, you can not negative exact an ASIN in any auto campaign, you can put them in negative but it will not work, there are chances, you can stop impressions by putting brand name and couple of keywords associated to that ASIN, if you want to avoid impression and clicks in auto campaign, you should add brand name and keywords associated to that ASIN in negative. It might work for you. It worked for me.
@scott_suggs3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can negative exact an ASIN now in an auto campaign. If you go to negative targeting you'll see a separate tab to negative products from targeting. You used to not be able to but Amazon added the option a little while back.

I find Amazon ads world very complex and difficult, this clarifies something which I will hopefully apply soon :) How could we find good matches for negative keywords on a product? Are they searched by hand? A video testing facebook ads could be super helpful as well!, I find it extremly hard to understand and very random. Thank so much Scott, these tutorials always come in handy :D
@scott_suggs3 жыл бұрын
You can go to the customer search terms section to see what the targeting was (or download the search term report spread sheet) and look for keywords that are either not relevant or getting lots of clicks with no sales or high ACOS and add those to the negative keyword section. I'll definitely be getting to some vids on Facebook ads at some point 😄
