Final tip for professional videos: Use cats. Cats will immediately improve the quality of your video. Cats are naturally cinematic and almost always work in any given composition. Cat fur is the most colour grade-able type of fur in the world. Cat's already walk in slow-motion, so you don't need 120p.

I remember one time in my high school media class a girl put together a video but had no idea that you had to render it out so she went up to present it and literally opened up her video editor, waited for the clips to load, and then pressed play while her macbook air struggled to play the first 15 seconds in realtime. I've never seen such disappointment on a teacher's face.

I’m very interested in your tip about manual focusing. Personally I can see that as amateur as well. It would be cool to do a video about manual focusing like a pro because it’s pretty difficult and if you do it wrong it can look very amateur.

Your Auto ISO is still turned on. Try to turn it off. And most of the "low light" condition on sets arent really low light. Light up your scene to a acceptable level for your camera/lense apeture without cranking the ISO up.

Use autofocus to get the camera to focus correctly on your subject, especially if it is yourself, but then change to manual once you have your desired focus setting. I trust the camera more to get the right focus but I trust myself to stay in focus once I fix it.
