Saturday 2nd weight workout 9/28/2024 . PERFECT video following your skills. I used 2-20lbs on Dead Lifts, 5-10lbs on the arms, 2-10lbs on the squats. I have never done one of these before (only cardio) and I don't have weights.... so I grabbed 2 cans of coconut cream from the cupboard.... not heavy, but better than nothing....I thought it was a fairly easy workout UNTIL an hour later I got up from my office chair and could hardly stand. 😂😂 My legs felt like jello. Ha ha, guess I will be doing these regularly now. 24 hours later and doing a cardio workout I could still feel the new muscles I found I have. Thank you, Julie. Your videos are inspiring. ❤

I really liked doing squats at the beginning before I am fatigued. The transitions were perfect, allowing for time to change weights, know what is next, or do an extended version of the exercise. Thank you!

10/4/24 What a better way to spend Friday night with you kicking my butt over and over. It's always hard to get back on track after an illness. I especially thank you Jules for your fun way to exercise with heavier weights and cool music to pass the time. For a 15 minute weight workout I was sweating like a pig but so worth it . If you have bad knees, only go to a depth that feels right for you. An alternative exercise is to do sit-to-stands instead, or maybe stick with the gentle or beginner level strength workouts. This workout is quite challenging for sure!

Yes, lunges can be tough on our knees. Make sure to use proper form when you do them. 👍

Hi Allyson, remember to put your weight into your heel of the front foot, and think of lunging DOWN, not forward. Also, you don't need to go as deep into the lunge as I do. Just go to whatever depth feels right. I hope that helps.
