I needed this all martial art gyms in BC are shut down, but my weightlifting gym has heavy bags to train at least.

I've worked out on traditional heavy bags kzbin.infoUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.

Hopefully someone on the channel reads the comments. I am a big fan of the channel and have watched a lot of your videos. I did this workout on my heavy bag today and it was great. Would you guys be willing to do videos on the heavy bag as if you are giving a class with a timer and everything? The channel Pentagon MMA has done it a couple of times and I love it. With everything still shutdown it makes me feel like I am back in the gym. It’d be cool to feel like I am doing a class taught by Bazooka Joe! If you read this thank you for your consideration!

Thai fighters are a fraction of his weight and they need to create more power. Regardless if you watch really good fighters theyre precise with heavy kicks too. Sometimes its used as a bait as well for the other person to step in. He throws very weak kicks here with very little twisting on his hips which is 1) okay for the purpose of the video. 2) still has great power with his bodyweight. 3) He uses a very light bag that would fly the F away if he landed a proper kick
@coldsmokepwrstroke Жыл бұрын
He has more karate style snapping kick. Easier to recover from and keep striking but the Muay Thai style has a bit more power. If joe kicks you it’s probably gonna hurt regardless lol

Yeh, don't really need to have such a big bag but it's not gonna matter too much, U just won't be able to use them for movement as U would for a 3 or 4 footy bag

Hey bro try a water core bag or a banana bag. century martial arts has some nice commercial affordable options. Stay away from canvas sand filled bags.

Are you a shorter guy? When your arms are short you are too close to the bag so you hit with your upper shin/knee
