One of our all-time favorite groups we listened to growing up was The Beach Boys! Matt pitched this song to the group and I believe several of you have requested it through the years as well :)
It looks like Mustache Matt may still be here a while haha.
Side note, watching this back I am very excited to not be pregnant anymore. I could barely get into the single mic to sing and play with how far my banjo was to the side hahaha. Macy Katherine Haygood arrived on October 12, 2023!

My mom's last years were spent mostly in her room where we cared for her as she steadily slowed. It was heartbreaking to witness, but we were there every day. I made sure to hug her when I left each day and tell her I love her. Her heart was growing weaker as we could tell from her blood pressure machine. 92 years old, she did not wake again that beautiful Saturday morning Oct. 2022. I played this song at her funeral a couple weeks after, along with several other Petersen songs. Thank you.

About three years ago I was trying to join patreon and...I was struggling with it. I asked for help and she came on and fixed it in five minutes. Send them cards and they reply. That's how they are. It was a difficult time for me and I credit them, a few others, and the Good Lord for bringing me out of it and believing in living again. I'm guessing you will be just fine with your kids. Raise them like Karen and Jon did. Isn't it something that Macy was born on Jon and Karen's wedding anniversary? God bless you and all your loved ones.

Brian Wilson is a sensitive genius, he perfect captured a time and the place of Southern California, and telling the world what so many guys were living and feeling. Great choice of music. I grew up listening to the Beach Boys, Christmas is coming and as a tradition I will get into the mode of listening to the Beach Boys Christmas album (and of course also their greatest hits). I always imagined you performing one of their songs, I even commented a few times here on youtube asking you to perform God Only Knows (one of the most beautiful songs of all time, in my opinion).
